Not bad. I’ve owned a few Henry’s, but sold them off when I thinned out the collection, sold basically everything I didn’t use, and the lever actions fell into that group.

Looks pretty good... certainly in the US, the reviewers show it's capable of sub-MOA accuracy with other calibers.

For those who can see a firearm for what it is and does, it's a bloody great allrounder if the calibers available will suit you.

A 308 would be good. So much easier using the pmags over the tube mag.

Yes, would be great, I reckon.

As AlexJ says about the 308 pmags, Those things are short for their capacity, weigh nothing and are indestructible.
The 308 size would fit 243 up, the latest 6.5's etc too.

I wonder if they are a full steel, or only aluminum alloy, receiver?

Yeah I watched the video. Looks like a pretty good rifle with a smooth action and easy to disassemble. Accuracy is pretty good too.

So much hype for it. Not so much real owners reviewing yet. I like it so I want it to be good.
But sub moa seems like a big ask for the design. Flogging that selling point is silly. Not really the rifle you choose for tight groups.Henry’s have other appealing attributes.
Quality and nice furniture and built to last is enough for me.
I do like it though. I think it’s potentially an American icon.
I don’t know how well it would fit me though. Length of pull, lever throw, cheek weld. Ultimately more important or I won’t end up using it much. I would like to try one on for size.

Probably will see where the future takes it. Would’nt mind a takedown version. Wouldn’t mind some options with spacers in the buttstock . Will be into see what calibres they add to the line. I want to see how it throws heavier projectiles

When you’re waiting for a rifle, late this year usually means about 500 days, give or take a week a two.

Really liking the look of this Henry in .300 Blackout, slick lines and seems like a great balance between classic styling and modern ballistics.

Just wondering from those who’ve used it (or .300 BLK in general), how does it stack up in the real world against something like a Rossi 92 in .357 Mag?

I’ve been running the Rossi for a while now as my go-to for scrub work (mainly pigs, sometimes fallow), and it does the job well inside 100. But the .300 BLK keeps popping up as a modern alternative for short-range work, and this Henry setup looks like a tidy option.

Does the Blackout give any real edge in performance, or is it more about ammo flexibility and personal preference?

the 300 blk is not a bad round its more of is it what you want and will it do what you need.

What if she has huge melons.
Not really polarising is it.

I hope someone more knowledgeable than me takes on coldstart’ s excellent question.
Because that’s a heap of information to share.
Remember. Inside a hundred yards. And it’s just pig shooting.
Sell the 300 blackout to me and coldstart
