Only a new member as of this morning here, and only discovered this bloke yesterday but most definitely agree!

Unfortunately it would seem from where I'm sitting that government is becoming less our elected representatives, and more introducing legislation to whatever suits their particular fancy with whatever laws they see fit - which usually involves us inevitably getting pushed down slightly further by their thumb - of course, it's only for our own good, we just need to accept it like the good little citizens we are. Nothing to hide, nothing to fear they say... What could go wrong??
