looks like pushing back against anti's pays off . political pressure from shooters party is making progress. if we could all unite into a NRA style group with real numbers i think we'd see better laws and results nation wide

I think it’s just becoming more obvious that the antis have been making false claims. And their bulls**t is being called out.

It's a beautiful thing.

I wonder what will be required for interstaters to get a permit?

Hunt safe. A bit more bang is better.

The boys at the SFP have done their home work and look to be prepared for the anti's, I'm not going to count my chickens before they hatch but objectively the Political structure in NSW and having 2 Shooting Fisher Farmer members in the Upper House along with the strength of the SSAA membership shows NSW will most likely get more done for Shooters with regards to suppressor access and more Public land hunting opportunities than QLD or of the other states.

Sad but that's the reality

Any win against the woke wankers is a win for us.
I remember Minns was genuinely surprised when Borsak explained the benefits of rec hunters for free pest control plus the economic benefits to rural towns.
He timed it nicely with that greeny run Feral pest control mobs lies becoming so obvious in their report.

The amendments will assure we never see suppressors, and I can't really see us getting to hunt in other places, but it will help us keep state forest access for another term.
They will never let us shoot in national parks as general hunters, only the SSAA inner boys club under strict ranger supervision.

Minns was genuinely surprised.

See that’s how it works.
With his stature he cannot engage directly with his community, constituents. It’s just not safe.
So he has to rely on information from focus groups.
Fortunately, Minns is smart enough to know that these focus groups are corrupted and heavily monitored and controlled by very well organised lobby groups.
This is how a relatively very small group of antis have been so effective over decades.

We can’t change our situation from the outside.
You have to be on the inside.
You have to be one of them to have your voice heard.
Forget about opposing them from the other side. It dose’nt work.

I don’t know who conceived it, but the ideal of conservation hunters is simply brilliant.

This gives hunters a standard to live up to. And it’s patriotic.
And you will have that title on your license. And you are helping our country.

I’m really feeling positive about the future of shooting in this country and i hope you all are too.
We have a role to play here.
So let’s all live up to their expectations. Be on the team and be responsible.

And a special thanks to Roger Cook for pushing a bunch of aussies into a tight corner.
You mistook law abiding for weakness. That was your mistake.

All sounds good verbally and on paper. I will embrace it when it becomes a reality.

It didn't happen and the Libs must have just been lying and stabbed us in the back again.

Next review is some months away and will take forever once it starts going through the govt processes.

So close as they say it was 20 to 19 in the vote.

I know we were not really going to get anything, but putting hunters in a more respected light was a win.
