No Plans For Great Forest National Park

Post by MG5150 » 04 Jul 2025, 4:10 pm

We've recently got some good news today with the ADA announcing that it's negotiated to open up two national parks in Vic for hunting in the near future.

What was overlooked earlier in the week was the same minister for the environment stating that the proposed 'Great Forest National Park' in Victoria was never a labor initiative and there are no plans to move forward with it.

For those of you in the loop, this is even better news than two new NP's to hunt it, for those of you out of the loop, the proposed park wanted to rezone over 300,000 hectares of existing state forests (365 day unlimited deer hunting and pest control) into a new park that recreational bush users would be locked out of.

It's been a very good week for deer hunters in Vic, especially on the back of news corps whispering that other states were keen to implement similar firearms controls that WA recently adopted.

Good to hear.

A lot of people put in their submissions.

And it’s worked.

We do outnumber our detractors. Just have to fight fire with fire.

We are learning to become better lobbyists a take the time to write letters. Some of us always have. But so many more are really getting on board here.

Huge beat up on 10+ last night. With several false claims.
Make an account. I made one for Fred Flintstone. Then stream news + for Friday 4th.
Necessary viewing.

We are very close to a tipping point. Because we have the numbers. But we have to exercise that power.
The media can say what it wants. Politicians only want to keep their jobs.

Anyway. Fred is giving some polite but firm feedback. But have to counter attack. Not roll over. Fred is not happy and will be watching channel 9 in future. Because Fred prefers honest journalism.
Let’s hope channel 9 keeps Fred happy.

It's not news, it's programming!

Apon reflection.

That was probably the worst public shaming and demonising story I’ve seen ever.

This is their contact number Ph: 02 9650 1010.

I wouldn’t go to town on them. But still it was absolutely disgraceful conduct on their part. I’m calling for resignations.
