We've recently got some good news today with the ADA announcing that it's negotiated to open up two national parks in Vic for hunting in the near future.
What was overlooked earlier in the week was the same minister for the environment stating that the proposed 'Great Forest National Park' in Victoria was never a labor initiative and there are no plans to move forward with it.
For those of you in the loop, this is even better news than two new NP's to hunt it, for those of you out of the loop, the proposed park wanted to rezone over 300,000 hectares of existing state forests (365 day unlimited deer hunting and pest control) into a new park that recreational bush users would be locked out of.
It's been a very good week for deer hunters in Vic, especially on the back of news corps whispering that other states were keen to implement similar firearms controls that WA recently adopted.
