thanks for posting , i had a read of the lefty "guardian" article, and i think they are right . firing sqauds can botch the job .so i'll go one further, bring back the guillotine . hard to stuff that up

personally i think pedo's should be drawn and quartered like in the middle ages , with the quarters sent to the 4 corners of australia .and their head mounted on a spear outside of parliment house i think that would have a big impact on pedo sex crimes

i'll give islamic countries their due , crime rates are low in a lot of them due to legal consequences . victoria with a high rate of home invasion for car keys for car theft would see a reduction in these crimes if convicted crims had their hand cut off as per islamic law . if your stupid enough to do it twice you'd have a hard time wiping your arse
