Man claims to have shot bigfoot, has "proof"

Post by ghunther » 08 Jan 2014, 10:36 am

If you haven't heard about this already...

AN AMERICAN man claims he has found and killed Bigfoot and has pictures to prove it.

The Huffington Post has reported that Rick Dyer, a "Sasquatch Hunter" by trade, not only found but shot the mythical Bigfoot in September last year and today has finally decided to upload the pictures of his big kill to show the world.

Mr Dyer claims on his website to have killed the creature in San Antonio, Texas, and used the irresistible lure of pork ribs nailed to a tree as bait. He then shot 7ft 10in Bigfoot as it fed and the body remains in Dyer's posession.

However, many are sceptical to Dyer's claims as he announced in 2008 he killed the beast, but those claims turned out to be false (his friend was wearing a rubber ape suit), which is the reason he delayed his posting so that he could get further proof that his Bigfoot, named "Hank" is the real deal.

Mr Dyer told US TV station KSAT: "Every test that you can possibly imagine was performed on this body - from DNA tests to 3D optical scans to body scans.

"It is the real deal. It's Bigfoot and Bigfoot's here, and I shot it and now I'm proving it to the world."

There will be a news conference held in the next few days and while we await official confirmation on the creature (we won't hold our breath) Mr Dyer also intends to showcase his prize kill by taking Bigfoot on tour to show the public.

What a load

"Ok, so in 2008 I was faking it, but this! time I'm serious..."

And people are still taking it seriously

And would you admit it if you actually shot one?

It would be like shooting a Tasmanian Tiger so you had proof there was still one alive.

Don't limit your self... If I had contact with Bigfoot I wouldn't shoot it, I would protect it by stfu

With that said I think bigfoot is real, extra terrestrial lifeforms are real and Dragons are extinct. But I'm still on the fence about goblins, orcs and elves =) hehe

Just in case people get confused because I know the Americans get this wrong all the time but a Bunyip is not a bigfoot/yowie.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunyip

And the noble yowie, who is less likely to kill a invader but more scare the crap out of some fellar or lass if he/she is in the yowies territory.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yowie

Wltimately it's the bunyip you never want to meet in real life  Because you probably will die.

Edit: I for one hope the yowie stays mythical because humans when made to aware tend to hunt things to extinction. notice how Americans shoot at a animal regardless of whether it is attacking them or not? lawls

I'm not a pro Bunyip hunter, sure I've killed a few but only the more common Yellow Horned Bunyip

The earlier photo is the more rarer Mustard Horned Bunyip, very easy to mix the two up so all I will say is that if your not sure don't take the shot.

From memory the bag limit is two per day, plenty of meat on them but only good for dog food due to a strong bullsh$t smell :ugeek:

I personally think people should be less sceptical given the bigfoot is actually apparently a extinct species which goes by the name Gigantopithecus.
the only reason they think they are extinct because they have not been able to find any bones that are dated more recently. so for all we know they are just really good at evading humans which appears to be the case judging by the patience and dedication required to locate one.

so far we have only found bones on 2 species of Gigantopithecus known as G.blacki species and G.giganteus which have been found in northern India and china...the bones do indicate that the Gigantopithecus stand and walk on 2 legs but there is not enough bone findings to prove this to be completely true or not true. All i can say is with all the sightings to date in countries across the world there is a pretty good chance that the Gigantopithecus is not extinct.

so my best advise...keep your eyes peeled for a yowie while your out there because they are incredibly good at blending in with their surroundings. I personally would make sure I have some organic fruit with me at all times while out in the bush in case you come face to face with one lol given being a friend would be far more beneficial to your survival then being a foe and only shoot at it if it charges you.

When my kids were little, I told em every year that my mate and I shot the Easter Bunny.
They just laughed at us.
So I guess if I started saying now that I've not only shot a Bunyip, but also the Abomnibal Snowman, all you guys would laugh at me as well ?
Damm it.

Damm, I always thought the Tooth fairy was a sheila.
Goes to show your never too old to learn.

But seriously, if anyone was going to lay claim to fame by shooting something extraordinary, one would think maybe a BLACK CAT (puma) ??
Leastways here in Aussie anyway.
