Ziad, it seems that you don't bother to read the information that is provided for you, and others.
If you took the time to read the previous posts, specifically the clip in post 3 of this thread, you might comprehend that it is no simple matter to alter the Constitution.

BTW, there have been two referendums in Australia pertaining to, what I will call "validation of local bodies" (a 3rd tier of government), the most recent of which was in 1988. They were soundly rejected. During the period of the Gillard government, it was once again suggested that permission for a 3rd level of government be put to a referendum. The idea was scrapped. Why? Because if a subject matter is rejected for a 3rd time, it can never be proposed again. Somebody, at some time in the future, at a more opportune time is bound to have another crack at it.
But, in the meantime, how is it that we have that 3rd tier of government, after the voters rejected the idea?

Did you take that pic lying down DB?
Or had the camera been drinking too?

My home brewed moonshine'll do that to you.
First time I tried it I ended up getting lost.
Couldn't find my way out of the lounge room so I slept on the floor.
Woke up with a tribe of pygmies trying to chainsaw their way out of my head.
75% seems like a wild fun idea at first, now I water it down to 50%, I've spent a couple more nights in the lounge room, but no more pygmies. :D

Pretty sad when what might have been some meaningful discussion descends into infantile diatribe.
I'm sure you two are enjoying yourselves, but I sure doubt that "the Good Ol' USA will ever have to worry about you.

BFS and DB’s posts are more interesting than worrying about some point of the Americans constitution. Unless the topic changes to how to fix what’s wrong with Australia, I reckon we should talk about beer ! Cheers

diatribe

noun

a forceful and bitter verbal attack against someone or something.

Come on No1_49er, hardly a diatribe.
A bit of irreverent digression perhaps, but we weren't attacking anyone

It's dreadful and aweful Murial, we must stop upsetting you, I wouldn't want you to turn to the drink to cope :D

Cheer up tomorrows another day of worrying about something that's never going to worry you or 99% of the world, but I guess it's good to be concerned about something, maybe you can start a thread worrying about what the SSAA pres for Mildura Branch did to his mother and borther? :unknown:
