Show your Support for an event promoting Firearms & Hunting

Post by salate » 24 Jan 2014, 10:36 am

This might not be an event close to you... It's another battle from the Anti's though, in this case trying to close down a completely legit firearms and hunting fair with their usual BS.

Why this is important

Many opponents to the Eurobodalla's HuntFest event continue to use false and misleading materials to promote their agenda against the Responsible, Law-Abiding, Ordinary Citizens who are trying to encourage, educate and promote the safety and community spirit of Firearms & Hunting.

The debate very quickly turns into a Guns vs No Guns discussion and in order to dispel some concerns, I have quickly brushed over some topics discussed below.

This petition is to show support for HuntFest and the opportunities it brings to further knowledge on safe and responsible handling of Firearms, and education on Hunting, Firearms and related topics.

You can sign the petition here to support fellow shooters.

Signed.

It's a shame our mature and law abiding gun culture is being slammed because of immature gun owners in some other country.

We have for the most part always had a different gun culture in Australia and these days it's even more mature and respectful.

Real slow going that petition.

Sad that the shooting community is struggling to drum up a measly 1,000 signatures.

Good to see plenty here are willing to help out for the good of all, not the case elsewhere it seems :(

hopefully more will sign, is there any way to make this stand out and or perhaps it should be posted to other shooters forums?
plenty of shooters! this petition just does not seem to be attracting their attention I reckon

1. other forums
2.redit
3. facebook
4.email
5.twitter

and so on. Because it is important that things like this go ahead, the Australian people suffer from lack of education. or the education the Government run propaganda machines dish out lol

It's been done on other places, just not enough people getting involved.
