I thought his instruction was really good.
Would be nice if we could instruct newbies with suppressed firearms.

but its great even just to get someone who has an irrational aversion to firearms (hoplophobia) to have a try
this is IMHO the way to go, it's not for everyone and everyone is not for it but good on the young lady for having a crack :drinks:
the gun clubs should be promoting this type of thing without trying to rape peoples wallets at the same time :wtf:

Is she a beginner natural, or has she had experience...?...The reason i say that, is she didnt blink once from the AR when shooting it rapidly on the "go nuts" remark..(well i think she blinked once but not from the report)...makes me wonder if its good acting first up... either way, its a good little promo video

Yep...thats right Marksman...!!
If they changed up the way its promoted it & not raped people it would do wonders at getting more to the sport... :drinks:

At least now she will have a better understanding of how irrational her beliefs may have been. Good on the fella for looking after her and showing her what it is we like about firearms, ITS FUN!!

Just a pitty he didn't clear the AR before turning up range, at the 6:04 mark.

I was concerned about wrapping her support hand around the trigger guard so her fingers were inside it as well.
But his overall approach to giving a non-shooter a fun first experience is excellent.

One anti-gunner I can have respect for. Not because she enjoyed it - but because she was willing to learn and give something she had a prejudice against a try to see things from 'the other perspective'.

Even if she walked away saying she hated it and still didn't like guns - I'd still have respect for her for actually being willing to gain some understanding and experience of what she is against, instead of choosing to want to remaining ignorant about anything that didn't fit within her ideologies. This is the sort of anti-gunner I can sit down and have a drink & a conversation with, as opposed to just an argument that benefits no one.

What a shame that she says that her friends will hate her simply because she tried something to gain an understanding. With any luck she can educate her friends, and if they still choose to hate her simply for that - well, IMO she could find better friends elsewhere.

She's not anti-gun at all, the body language infers that she wants that guy badly. She's got that same look of lust in her eye that I get in the gunshop...
