G'Day Fella's,

I totally agree with you Doc.
The abc (thats an acronym for Another Biased Comentary), is so blatant with their reporting, I have problem listening to and watching it.
Every socialist agenda that there is out there floating about, and the abc is there, pushing it to the max!
Nobody would miss it's one sided reporting, so give it the chop, I say.

All those would be earning double the money elsewhere so no it aint gunna happen. Plus the ABC has editorial standards who none of the names youve mentioned would meet, well maybe Steve might met them, the others no way. ;)

that's a scary thought that people in regional areas are being brainwashed by biased ABC . i think the abc needs to be reined in and have new standards set that are impartial and report all the facts. the ABC should be setting a standard . i won't watch a lot of abc shows. their in the same bracket as ten's "the project" . which is one of the most blatantly leftist agenda shows on air . left or right, the media needs a more professional approach and standard and accountability

Just look at how the presenters bagged Clive Palmer on election night even though Clive is a bit on the nose he should enjoy the right to be treated as the other parties were I don't know why people are still commenting on the ABC we all know all media outlets are bias in some way shape or form so take it with a grain of salt if it offends you switch it off I do and I sleep well at night

All that brainwashing in regional areas doesn't seem to have any impact on how they vote.

i think country folk in general are clued up to politicians and media BS. a few i've met were wary of me at first due to ignorant "do-gooders" from the city areas they've met in the past as well. one old bloke i got talking to reckons he would welcome vegan protesters onto his property. because of their vegan diet they would be good for the soil and would compost down real quick ;)

The difference is the ABC is funded by us, the taxpayer, which should ensure impartiality. If you don’t like what a newspaper/tv programs slant on things, don’t buy/watch it. You only have to have a look at what side of politics think the ABC is fair to work out which way they lean.....

I think...its my opinion only.

But there are more lefty or center people who are quite happy with the ABC on the whole as they don't seem to care about their money being wasted

For as long as I can remember ABC has always been very left and biased in that direction so clearly it's not a great return on investment for taxpayers. Sure ABC cranks out decent programs on occasion but worth taxpayers funding?

Its not only the ABC I think ziad if we started to worry about our money being wasted we'd have to sack all the government we'd save millions

Actually I was thinking a little but more....ABC actually has many very good programs. The Kids channels, the after hours comedy channel and stuff that normally you won't see on commercial stations like many BBC shows. Even Australian comedies like The Pizza.

I think we been hating stuff too much lately... time to be happy and enjoy what we have before we loose it
