Post Federal Election on Q&A

Post by Stix » 20 May 2019, 11:01 pm

Its only about 15 mins in, & it looks like the shadow finance minister Labour front bencher, Jim Chalmers has already run out of lube...

He's getting an absolute reaming from every corner of the room..
Maybe he should have taken a semi auto firearm & a stack of mags full of Hdy's Zombie max ammo, cos they're all piling on his ass like a bunch of zombies on a live human.

He's scared to say his opinion & cant seem to either confirm or stand firm on any policy issues Shorten committed suicide on for moving forward in the future.
Where is Tanya :unknown: ...Mr Bowen :unknown: ...or their next leader, Albo :unknown: ... :unknown:
Boy, he's either drawn the short straw or desperately trying to advance himself within the party...

And love him or hate him, good old Alan Jones is stating the obvious in his usual firm & confident manner.
The man who knows everything, doesnt really know everything...he's just stopped learning...

Love Alan Jones . I don’t agree with everything he says, but not being afraid to speak your mind and go against the status qo is a rare thing in this country these days

ya cant deny the stats he sprouts but the reality is CO2 levels are the highest in 800000 years atm so we need to look at the possibility we are having an effect.

Balancing the costs against the economy should be left to market forces.

the cause of global warming is emissions from everything we do, but manufacturing and power production are key causes .and the demand is increasing. they all talk about more efficient living and less "carbon footprint" . but the elephant in the room that no one wants to address is it's all being driven by ever increasing population . if you cut the worlds population by two thirds , all the enviromental problems would start to recede as demand for resources would be cut by a major margin. the chinese have had a one child policy for a long time for this reason . it's something no one wants to look at, and would be career suicide for any politician to even suggest population control . in years to come resources and productive farming land will become high commodities . which is why the chinese are buying as much as they can over here......... :unknown:

Australia contributes 1.3% of the worlds CO2 emissions, so if Australia drops off the map it won’t make a lick of difference. What’s the point of destroying our economy for four fifths of bugger all different.....

Bigrich mate I think the main reason manufacturing has moved overseas is cost of labor..in short its cheaper to make it in China and ship it here. Also lately is the flip flop of the politicians, the is no certainty about policies.. makes it very hard for a company to invest millions of dollars when they don't know what the future government will say.

I do think I agre with mjw we are a veri small emitter of greenhouse gases.

Mate don't tell me you watched avengers endgame and thought let's kill off half the population. Also China one child policy had actually cause a huge problem for the community and their social fabric. Initially families preferred having a Male child as the thought was going to earn a living, and be able to look after them... but this caused a huge imbalance where the are like 3 or 4 males for 1 female. So many boys have no chance of finding a wife and starting their own family (yes some will say that's good more time 4 hunting and fishing). Furthermore the single women have gotten very picky about there mate.

Anyway back to endgame..... the question I think is the biggest on... who decided who will get to live and who gets to die.....

Jk

I haven’t seen or am aware of the plot to the latest avengers movie ziad . I am aware of the social implications of the one child policy and male children in China. Other cultures also favour male children for the same reasons you gave, female babies are left to die or killed. In Australia we are a small percentage of the pollution problems, which is why I’m so amazed at the fanatical views of some greens. Cheaper overseas labour is a big part of why manufacturing has moved offshore, but the red tape of environmental controls and health and safety have also played a part. I worked in a foundry for 12 years, and management spent a lot of money and resources with environmental/safety issues. Which is why they built a new plant in China. As for who lives, who dies, mate I’m not suggesting anything like a cull. I’ll leave that to mad billionaire’s like in the movie “kingsmen”. Population control is a moral and ethical mine field which is why it’s not talked about. It’s also bad for consumer society like ours from a business point of view. . I’ll probably be long gone by 50 years at least before people contemplate this reality of population control . The worlds resources are finite, that’s the reality of it

Actually I read something interesting or watched I forget. But many scientists believe that we are actually nearing the max population number. Their theory.

As people get educated and well off they start to procreate less. That's why developers countries are at less than 2 children per couple and developing countries are at higher. As wealth spreads and countries that are now developing change to developed the population there will slow down.

The China wanting food bowl I dunno it doesn't make sense there is a bigger game at play here. As they could get land cheaper in other countries.... which they are. Why buy so much here with our drought and employment conditions

Glad to hear that mate. You’re right about the birth rate, more developed countries have a faster pace of life which doesn’t help family life from a whole lot of perspectives. The Chinese like to invest in Australia cause we’re pretty stable politically. Not much chance of any revolution soon

We already have population control in the western world and it's what I call the inverse agenda. The inverse agenda uses culture and society to push abortion, homosexuality and variants thereof, free instant pornography, pushing men to be feminine and women to be masculine and essentially taking anything people would have considered "normal" for thousands of years and flipping it 180 degrees. And it's working as birth rates decline in many countries below replacement levels.

800,000yrs? FMD they can't even get the weather right a week in advance and we are supposed to rely on people to tell us exactly what was what that far back :silent:

The problem is these arseholes rely and government grants to keep a pay packet coming in and the best way to do that is create fear about the climate (no one really understands how it all really works or how it really was all those years ago but convince the Sheeple and it will be so and the gravy train will continue to roll on for ever!
