While i was looking for a poem this morning, i came accross this article...

Warning, this gets a bit ranty...

Im gobsmacked...!!...to avoid my rant go to the link at the bottom of my post...

Obviously i dont get out much, because ive never heard of this Mob referred to in the article...infact i googled the name (im not going to publish the link for reasons that should be obvious), but the first thingf i looked for was what the letters/acronym stands for & cant even find that being readily visible on the site...

Anyway...i wonder if the industry, our Government, or a coalition of such actually do anything to combat this movement...!!

I mean, im all for the protection of animal rights particularly in regards to cruelty, & im not even a fan of killing Kangaroos, but the bottom line is that we have a byproduct of our sheep & cattle industry here in Australia...that being feral dogs that create havoc, & a kangaroo population that runs up in huge numbers because the natural pressures that keep them in check, have been removed by our capatilist farming practices.

So why do we have the potential for an industry in roos here in Aust, & yet we allow this to happen...???

Seriosly...to a large point, i blame ourselves for allowing this, other similar type sh!t to happen...!!...like our gun laws--we can walk around with a Tikka & as many 10 round mags strapped to our belt as we like, but we cant have pump shotty with 5 shots stuffed in the forend...

Is this a kind of deranged mentality version of "Herd Immunity" we suffer from...?

Instead of holding back on stupidly high wage levels dictated by the over-entitled & creating industries with the free product at our feet, we allow uneducated totalitarians to sell our dirt for a one off cheap as chips price, , import Cane Toads, , flood our landscape with god only knows how many strains of untested virus, , & pay more for our own bloody lamb & Gas than they pay in other countries.. .

Maybe its just me, but im sick to death of what we're becoming...And...AND you know what---when i went through the Hungy Jacks drive through last time i left the city to go shooting, i payed with EFTPOS & had to input my PIN after selecting the account--(note i said "EFTPOS"--not "EFTPOST", or "EFTPOS Electronic Funds Transfer (at) Point Of Sale")..
ANd when i selected my account...i had to select "CHECK"---yes thats right...!!...My "Cheque" account is recoginsed now as "CHECK" account...but i guess thats representative of what we're becoming...

the greens want the roo's to be culled and put in a pit so there is no economic gain
the roo's are still going to be culled and there existence is that they were just a waste
nothing from them is used except as a fertilizer

Well its not that i read the Guardian...its just a randon link i posted...there are any number of, infact pages of articles about it.

Im gobsmacked these idiots probably eat our beef, wear our sheep, walk in our leather, yet a Roo shot in the brain is bad news & plenty people dont have jobs or can afford good quality meat...
And we pay, what i understand to be, very reasonable rates for contractors to trap & shoot wild dogs because of the cost to the agriculture indusrty...
Surely the proceeds of a thriving Kangaroo harvest industry would not only overcome these losses, but value add to the industry as a whole...
Investors pour large amounts of money into feed lots so they can value add to their feed crops, feed crops that cost money--more money than a free Kangaroo costs...!!

I wonder what the world will be like after we have all passed on...what will these climate & greeny activists wear, eat, live in, use for transport...?

Im obviously the pretty stupid one, because i cant for the life of me understand our Govt doesnt make a thriving industry out of our over abundance of Roos & remove any monopoly holding (if there is one) on the indusrty...not to mention, trying to get a grasp on the superior intellect these people obviously have over me, that allows them to feel some kind of vindication that "fur" is no longer used, but "leather" hand bags are ok...

They are obviously stepping on us & using us for a win, because we are a weak community too apathetic to stand up to this cryte...cow leather is ok, but Roo leather harvesting is cruel...

I mean, we muster wild Goats, stress them out to maximum levels, ship them in open trailers to be nutted & shipped overseas at stupidly high prices, but we let the logic of a 50 grain explosive lead bullet to the brain being cruel, to dictate & override our very own & easy methods of sustainable food resources & potential industry...

Why dont a bunch of us all get together & make an industry out of it in our own country...oh...maybe we did that & this is where its landed...

Anyway...dont mind me...i need to get out & go hunting again---this stupidly blind capitalist model of oppressive self destruction we follow in this country is getting to me again...
Maybe ill go tag a roo & make a free range shopping/grocery bag...ill stitch a fox tail to it for added effect...

f we stood together and made our opinion and point of view public and loud and fought back rather than scrambling to hold on for dear life to the few gun "privaliges" we have we could own functional tools and not be dictated what's adequate by socialists who've never fired a firearm in their life.
