Marksman wow!

I have burnt out a few barrels in 30/06, 308 and 22/250 all shooting animals. I dont go to ranges.

I have a few qualifications and have also personally shot tens of thousands of pest animals in different species. Other than personal experience, qualifications also allows me conduct research and interpret data, an important aspect of my job.

Insurance costs to some people are a real burden. Fair enough. It isn't cheap. But I need it, just like workers comp etc.

I never repeated myself, I have clarified what I said.

Splatter tests on bullets are fine. They are useful in some circumstances. But different species requires different penatrative requirements, which means you may not want a "splatter". Yes, I shoot every week in the suburbs.

The photo of the horse in the link is still shod.
I thought earlier it was said they were bang tailed and shoes removed.

Got me beat. Nobody shoots 30 horses without certainty that they are feral/wild. Unless they have been smoking something.

I am guessing sporting shooter didn’t send out a photographer. That would be a random horse photo for good measure.

the story is still the same, what they are saying is that these 2 shooters did not have permission to shoot in this area of the property
pretty sure it will be on the written permission that they were told as in the original story to stay away from this part of the property
the photo is just a random as said above

all said and done though l am with Grandad saying there seems to be more to this story, the police are still investigating so its unclear if what these 2 did was in fact illegal, l'm sure if it were straight out illegal ssaa would have dumped them very quickly as well, its not cut and dry but it will come out eventually
obviously these horses should not have been shot :unknown:

Again I cant stand the title of the article, they make it sound like a professional culling team went ape s**t shooting livestock, and even if they did, it was two regular jackoffs not some trained cull team. smh

Does anyone know what happened in this case? Was compensation paid or any sort of conviction?

In November it was adjourned to January.... but no idea after that

Link to latest update

Current allegations are a far cry from the 1st media story. So these cullers took the time to bury every horse? One horse wounded is one too many and the fact needs to be explained in a Court, but the rest of the alegations about horses shot and killed are dropped.
