Yep its time that pressure is put on police to hold individual officers to account for their discrimination and bullying of individuals and interest groups. Police targeting law abiding citizens needs to come with a mountain of recompense, they need to be dragged over the coals for it, if not sacked and fined heavily.

What is normal is that governing bodies/agencies are set up to be impartial and unbiased. Not having interest in decisions is important, this is why govt officials are not allowed to make decisions on things they have a personal interest in.

Except firearms owners are being controlled by the Police, who would have all of us stripped of our licences in a heartbeat if they could. We need an independent governing body, a national body, to look after licensing, and leave the Police to do the job they are supposed to do.

It reminds me of a South Australian indoor shooting range that was unfairly targeted and bullied by SAPOL

Police wonder why everyone treats them with contempt, they are always relentlessly making themselves the adversary of the people, they are only meant to serve the people not spend their days looking for ways to f*** them over, Police consistently pick on innocent people, fail to catch/prosecute real criminals and they are way too smug for people who never stop crime.
