Anti gun range sentiment

Post by on_one_wheel » 29 Apr 2021, 1:09 pm

I noticed this in "letters to the editor" in the local rag.

I feel this might need helpful when putting forward a case to your local councils in support of ranges.
It's handy to know the angle of attack from the antis, that way their claims can be countered with sound reasoning and facts.

Here it is, straight from the horses mouth.

Thanks for expressing your concerns Jane.
The range will be shooting 50cal and machine guns 24/7 in random directions with bazooka day being Sundays 6:00am to 11:30am with no regard to safety.
Please ensure to don your bullet proof vest battle helmet and ear muffs, we suggest building a bunker just to err on the side of caution.

Here's a preview of our planned night sessions.

The anti-gun propaganda is almost exclusively a left wing extremist view that is pushed by mainstream media as attention grabbing clickbait, also, it's those same extremists that are willing to work under the pretense of journalism at these local rags just to try and push their opinion onto the mindless majority.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story seems to be their underlying philosophy.

On what planet are Rupert Murdoch and the desk masturbators left wing extremists.

There is always someone that will object to any new development. It could be a new kids playground and you would get very similar letters. Oh the noise of construction, cars coming and going, noisy kids they may vandalize the neighborhood ect ect.

"Piggott Range Road facility would include club facilities for rifle, pistol and shotgun shooting and up to a 700-metre rifle range dependant on planning consent"
