Time to rewatch the movie 'Space Cowboys'. Good for a laugh but horribly relevant right now. Gotta love that ending, too, bloody brilliant.

It'll happen because other people want it to happen. The US and UK are driving this one.

My long-standing analogy is that Australia, as a whole, is the fat retarded kid with a $20 note in the school canteen. To quote the movie War Dogs; hell, we're the fattest and most retarded!

No-one would give a damn about us except for the fact that we've got resources. Little things like iron, coal, silver... oh... a third of the worlds uranium? Bet most people didn't know that one.

Bring on the nukes.

Has changed since 2017. China will be buying less and less of OZ.

I wonder if they notified anyone it was coming our way?

Ahh ok, sorry I just wanted to check before I went on my speech.

It's a space rocket and it operates above the air space of all countries... including China. And your article itself mentions it's flying to meet up with the Chinese space station.

Unfortunately (for your story) most other countries only manage airspace upto a certain limit eg Air services Australia manage to 60,000feet or about 18km. A rocket flying 200/300+km above sea level from any country is fine to fly over any country. American NASA rockets, routinely fly over Chinese mainland. Even their military satellites do the same.

If Australia could send up a space rocket (as opposed to a military missle), Chinese couldn't stop it.

But as they say don't let facts get in the way of a great yarn and xenophobia.

Yeah right, because using CCP operatives based in Australia spreading it at supermarkets and major events via virus cultures would be just way too cheap and simple.

Yes wildly improbable and completely ridiculous.

However I doubt CZ even believes we have had CCP operatives working within our own government and big businesses as spies.

I think you really have your head buried in the sand when it comes to what China is up to. Either that or you've been living under a rock.
