I remember that incident happening and instantly knew that was the end of gelblasters. Thr SA police commissioner made it clear when they initially allowed thr sale of gelblasters to continue unregulated that if someone were to misuse them not only would they come down hard bit they'd regulate their use.
So we can thank idiots like Brandon for the fact we can't even have fun toys.

Thanks Brandon you f*#king idiot :drinks:

People can still have them, just as long as their happy to treat a plastic piece of crap like a real firearm and have it take up room on your safe.... people are actually registering them

No, even making the shape of a gun with your hand will get you in strife, especially if you pretend to load it, cock it, point it and say BANG!

I'd register my hand but leaving it in the safe when I'm not using it doesn't suit me

Clearly he has a pea for a brain, but dose’nt jail seem excessive.
Technically there was no weapon involved. Certain parts of Aus are the only place in the world where a toy gun is a real gun.
He should make amends, apologies, perhaps a donation to a gel blaster range.
But given his limited intelligence jail is’nt going to turn his life around. He’ll just meet more d**kheads and learn how to be a better one.
Just don’t see why my taxes should be funding an amateur d**khead’s tuition at d**khead academy so he can turn pro.
Stupid and offensive behaviour certainly, but a victimless crime. Something not quite right about putting people in real jails for pretend crime. A kick up the arse would be better than what’s about to go up there for the next month straight.
I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

I have no sympathy for the dumb f&%k, with an extremely bad haircut. Toy or not, those that he shot at had no idea what he was using at the time. The fellow is as sharp as a sack of wet mice...AND has ended up with a criminal record, which is not going to help him the job sector for many years to come.

I'm glad someone mentioned his haircut.

his one month in jail would be because of his attitude.
He'll get the fright of his life when he's escorted to his cell while being wolf whistled at.
The second he acts tough in jail hell be put right back in his place faster than he can clench his ass cheeks.

Judges put people like that away for a short stay when they feel an attitude adjustment might be helpful, sometimes it works but unfortunately sometimes it makes them worse.

One month in the can for being a total jerk. Another three because someone was hit in the eye, and another couple of months for that hair cut
