QLD Police and their firearms knowledge

Post by rc42 » 07 Mar 2022, 1:58 pm

Police searched the car of a drugged up driver and found drugs, gel blasters and a replica revolver.
The police officer holding the revolver can be clearly heard at the 20 second mark saying "I'll just put the safety on"

Hopefully they are more familiar with their issued semi-autos.

There have been a few revolvers manufactured with manual safeties, even fairly modern ones.
But yes, that is negligence in the extreme...

"Hopefully they are more familiar with their issued semi-autos."
That could be fun, their issued semi-auto doesn't have a safety. One confused copper coming up.
