Talk is cheap
Let's see if the SSAA puts its money where it's mouth is in the same way the NSC does by actually challenging something in court for a change.

NSC is nothing but a bunch of gronks doing more harm in WA than good
All they want to do is discredit the other groups and make us all look like idiots.
Peter Zabrdac from NSC launched a vile attack on Bevan Steele from WAFTA and SSAA here recently.
I took him to task over it and the gutless pos deleted it and banned me
Trust me I'll throw a turd at him if we cross paths.

I just can't remember one single occasion where the SSAA went in to bat for shooters.

SSAA run clubs and do a reasonable job of that, the NSC support shooters.
There was a time when the SSAA claimed to actively campaign against onerous restrictions but those days have passed.
I think the SSAA and the NSC are so separated in their functions that it's unfair to compare the two anymore, probably because pushing back against the government could put the SSAA's business model at risk, it would be all too easy for government bureaucrats to make life extremely difficult for SSAA clubs.

It is too easy. We don’t have any mechanism to prevent it.
Liberal democracies rely on morality. Meaning you shouldn’t introduce policy that isn’t evidence based.
Meaning mcClown is asserting autocracy ie dictatorship.
Scary stuff. But it happens. People voted hitler in.
State opposition to him is virtually non existent in wa because the libs and nats are solely focused on hating each other’s guts.
And besides the leader is also the shadow minister for mental illness and domestic violence so probably not going into battle for lafos anytime ever. She is not your friend.
Federal intervention is the only possible way to stop it. But this isn’t worth it to them.
So you could try on the English bill of rights again. Might be worth another shot, pun intended.
But I really think we’re kinda f*ucked here.
In wa time to look for a new hobby sorry. But you guys are really truly unequivocally f*cked.
I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned

Wouldn't take much effort for them to start a separate organization solely focused on defending the rights of shooters and make "donations" to said organization if they really cared about anything other then filling their pockets.

Got a list of the SSAA'S legal achievements?
I'd be really interested to read that.

 I'd like to see that list too.

SSAA died as a force when Ted Drane died.

That might explain their lack of testicular fortitude.
One day I'll become a member again when I decide to spend time at clubs, but for now they do nothing for me.

Yes it sounds good.. another theory.
When a former prison officer is told to get mental health check but there is a two year wait...

What does being a former prison officer have to do with it?

It wouldn't be relevant if it was current. Let alone in the past
