WA is a small fish bowl and McGowan quickly tired after the recent covid distraction. Id imagine he some plum jobs lined up

Chances are he is (metaphorically) 'one step ahead of the bailiffs' if he doesn't go voluntarily.
We have seen a bit of that here in NSW over the years.

He will be on the board of directors or have a plum exec gig for at least one of the big 5 resources companies operating in WA before christmas

BHP
Rio
FMG
Chevron
Woodside

I think he's unlikely to join Wyatt at Rio and Chevron is an American company, so my pick is Woodside. His government have been phenomenally friendly to them. FMG are a bit too much of a political hot potato and BHP aren't generally as transparent about their regulatory capture as some others.

Mate they were trashed long before he get anywhere near it. Especially the debacle that is our ambulance service being run by a contractor - thats 130 years old now. He didn't do a damned thing to improve it, and definitely made some decisions that made it measurably worse, but the liberals have not done us any favours there either. Fact is no government has been good for health in donkeys years.

Where was that quoted?

ABC News article today quoting McGowan as saying the system was being abused as a loophole and needing to be radically chamged. He was supported by statements from Graziers Association policy director Sheldon Mumby. after statements a week ago from Papalia on the same subject.
