Read this. Appears to be some kind of misunderstanding.

They are saying he was charged with possessing an unauthorised firearm but are now calling it a toy? Gel blasters are illegal in NSW so is it a gel blaster which is illegal or a toy which is legal?

Maybe they will drop the charges.

My stance on gun control depends on firearm, caliber, wind, and obstacles.

100% just a cheap water pistol that comes with two "mags". I have one for teaching the chickens not come up on the back deck and crap everywhere

OK, so I'm guessing we'll see water pistols heavily regulated as cat H soon.

Our illustrious plods hard at work again. Seems they "watered" down the original charge.

So funny, they thought they had him on the serious illegal weapons charges when they thought it was an evil killing machine (gell-blaster)

Paid their penny and only farted.

Wokeworld solution is tougher new gun laws with water pistols being re-classified to bring them into line with the laws.
