Police Shoot Police

Post by alexjones » 10 Jan 2025, 12:26 pm

So a cop in Brisbane just got into a "physical altercation" with a man and "Both the officer and the man sustained gunshot wounds each".

The article is breaking news and more will come out soon. But I am assuming the cop shot himself with his own glock then shot the man. Or the cops partner shot both of them. Or perhaps the guy took the cops glock shot the cop then got shot in return? As we all know Glocks have no external safety only a trigger safety so perhaps in the struggle it went off. I guess we have to wait and see.

Ok so this article says both are in hospital "one patient had life-threatening injuries while the other had potentially life-threatening leg injuries"

It does not state which patient is who but I guess we can assume the cop shot himself in the leg then shot the bloke. Or the bloke tried to grab the glock from the holster and it went off then he got shot in return?

The perp was trying to get the police officers weapon out of the holster and it discharged shooting the officer in the thigh.

The second officer shot the perp twice in the stomach which didn't stop him so he tasered him.

Jeez.

Jumping to conclusions again, before the facts are out? Maybe change the title of the thread, it's embarrassing. I thought this was AHN for a minute.

A very unfortunate police officer has been shot because of some scumbag when trying to take his firearm off him. I feel ashamed that anyone has to go to work and live with this level of risk, because of the sickening politicians and judges that we as a country seem to accept nowadays as "leading" us and have caused this decline in society by not adequately punishing the scum that continue to offend.

Yeah that's full on. Stupid crackheads.

I always wanted the glocks to have an external thumb safety. The American army made Sig add one to the M17.Which is the main difference between the P320 and the M17.

Of course I was jumping to conclusions why wouldn't I? I have a brain that can think for itself and try to piece information together and figure out what happened before it is even released. Read my 5th sentence.

You should learn about marketing. Thread titles, thumbnail photos etc play a major part in view response. A negative title is always more reactionary than a positive title.

How stories can evolve. Reminds me of a story up here in the north. Two cockies or workers on remote cattle station decades ago. Arguing over some stock animal on a boundary. One in an old truck, the other on a horse. Things went from bad to worse and the fella in the truck pulled a bolt action 22Lr and opened fire. The fella on the horse had a 45 colt pistol( !) and returned fire. They both managed to disable each other but were still alive on the ground when some workers found them. They were transported into Cairns base hospital and operated on. Somehow ended up in the same ward. The police SGT came to interview them in the hospital and to avoid prison both collaborated a story that a bloke had showed up out of the bush and shot them both up with a 22LR and a 45Colt. :D
