LOL I saw a video of an american guy hating the world because he paid $60 for some Hornady poly Tip 45/70 ammo ( loaded 2 boxes ) and here I see it's about $60 - $70 per box
ChicagoTed wrote:how much is ammo over there?
if i buy factory stuff its usually
5.56/.223
$9-11 per 20 or $5-6 for steel case
.40sw
$16ish per 50
9mm
$11 per 50
.22lr
$20 for 500
reloads from gunshows are usually 30-40% less than factory stuff
and i live in an area where guns/ammo prices are pretty high

Yep, it was about $1.26 a gallon.

I wouldnt say stupid necessarily,; when you're used to paying under a dollar a litre or gallon, its a shock to be paying much .... much more... especially when our soldiers are laying their lives down to protect 'our' global crude oil interests... sorry I meant bringing democracy to those nations in need...
I remember when our bowser price broke through $1/L for the first time... I think it may have been around the year 2000, its a shock...
Not so much stupid, more so taken for a ride by a global energy oligarchy....It is absolutely ridiculous, but not just the price of petrol at $1.60 when I last filled up... I was shaking my head all the way to the register, there was a woman in front of me who picked up a bottle of water (600 or maybe 750ml) and asked mow much, the reply was $5.... $5 for a bottle of water!!!, thats at least 6.66 a litre WTF is going on here... oh it was pure vitamin 100% water water.....
I'm off to Venezuela... 1c a litre petrol and free water!
