So ASIO knew about these people particularly the son Naveiv and it's unclear as to whether that information was transmitted to the state police or not. If it was transmitted to the state police, which parts of the police received that message and which didn't? For instance did the anti-terrorism group have it but it wasn't passed on to the firearms group? and therefore there was a breakdown in communication something's gone wrong somewhere we need to find out.

As per previous post in another thread, where people are calling for the police's heads. Prudence requires we obtain all the facts and until a formal review is activated we cannot pass judgment.
Tom has heard the inside goss, and I would have to agree with him. I suspected as much, but we need the facts from an independent body.

No I understand it.
It’s the government part that holds me accountable for a terrorist attack that I’m struggling with.

I'm buoyed by seeing Tom Kenyon taking the SSAA more political and stepping up.
I hope it actually morphs into a promotion for educating the voters towards the political parties actually standing up and refusing to agree with these obviously smokescreen laws designed to hide the now "leaders" deliberate agendas and who's dropped the ball.

ssaa stepping up and educating the public with PR campaigns is long overdue . that's what politicians prey on, the fear and ignorance of the public . the thing i hate the most is when politicians say tighter gun laws on LFAO's will "get guns off the streets" . that makes me mad, only guns on the streets are cops and crims, i don't take a 308 rifle in the car to get milk from the shops :P

No matter what happens. The same ole trope in every politician and police commissioner speech like a broken record. Neonazzzeesss and gun storage. Both which absolutely had nothing to do with it. Hopefully Kenyon rise above this.

Yes, and I reckon it's perfect blameshifting, from them who really are to blame, onto us.
What do they call that? Spin.
As usual, failure is hidden behind vilification of others. We just have to get angry enough to just nor accept it, by using our vote. Hopefully Kenyon has the balls to cop all the flack that will result from exposing the politicians stabbing us in the back.

I must be one of very few that will not accept being disrespected or knifed more than once, ever. No second chances. Feels a little disappointing actually.
