OMG 85db.... that's at the standard measuring distance of 1 metre right? Surely the "experts" wouldn't be failing to mention how sound is measured and dissipates over distance? They'd better campaign hard to ensure the shooters wear hearing protection. BTW What's the noise level at the border of the property... and for a hoplophobe with an ear trumpet?

Maybe they should propose something different for the site of wider spread benefit to the community, like a high temperature biomedical waste furnace, perfectly safe for surrounding environs.

"...the back yards of two families..."

So when they call themselves the "residents" plural they literally mean two are complaining

I noticed that... smells like rollie brownstain and his undisclosed GCA membership numbers of three... or is it 4?? HI ROLAND :drinks:

The proposed range is less than 500 metres from the back yards of two family homes.

OMG, they will actually HEAR people recreating outside and enjoying each others company, and of course the company of their fave 6shooter :D

Firing on the range is approved for in excess of 100 days a year, including two weekends a month.
An 85 space Car Park must be constructed.

Thats just NOT ON, lets petition the council to open 24/7/365... AND car parking for 1000 people in case the nationals are scheduled!!

Category A, B and C (Shotgun) Weapons may be used at the proposed range.

HOLY CRAPPOLI BATMAN, not only A, not only A and B.... BUT A B & C!!! Yippikiyee mfer!!!

Lead may contaminate the water catchment and Koalas and and several other species may be placed under environmental pressure.

NOT THE Ko-ali bears! damn those Ko-alis contaminating the waterways... oh.
Damn those water catchminentation..... oh.. what was the question...

The lead was mined FROM the environment.... shooters are just closing the circle of life, and returning the lead (and the Koalis) TO the environment :drinks:

So.... council has OKed the development application :drinks: :drinks:

I used to frequent this area as a young fella, the swimming holes used to be great back then, now days they are littered with beer/soft drink bottles, food packets, syringes and bongs, I'd never take my kids there....
