The Greens are backing the hunting of deer on the Illawarra escarpment as part of a move to get serious about eradicating the pest animals.

Mr Shoebridge said the cost would be between $2 million and $4 million [<as opposed to a $0 rec hunting program ] to get the program started over a number of years.

The greentards will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER support any activity that promotes shooting, involves shooting, guns, recreational hunting......

There are a LOT of generally f***ed up things they will support, the use of guns in the community AINT one of them.

In NSW you need a Category R Game license to hunt Deer, how many recreational hunters do you think we have with Cat R game license in NSW who have sat the test and paid the fee.

I cannot hunt Deer because I don't have this Category R endorsement.

Yes the Greens are bad and should be put dead last on every ballot paper.

Dont worry, after the revolution (Hi ASIO :friends: ) we'll sort everything out...

FEDERAL government have ZERO CONSTITUTIONAL license to legislate for 'the environment'. Yes, I know thats a huge concept that sounds foreign to accepted logic....

.... and therefore the states can also 'de-regulate' all matters public land related, as far as I'm concerned that involve activities that dont 'injure' others {legal meaning of injure fellas}

The FEDs publish an overview with the actual text of the Commonwealth Constitution that includes such fictional concepts as follows;

Commonwealth Legislative Powers
The Constitution confers the power to make laws on the Commonwealth Parliament. However, the power of the Commonwealth Parliament to make laws is limited to particular subjects. Most of these subjects are listed in sections 51 and 52. They include defence; external affairs; interstate and international trade; taxation; foreign, trading and financial corporations; marriage and divorce; immigration; bankruptcy; and interstate industrial conciliation and arbitration.
This list of powers given to the Commonwealth Parliament does not expressly refer to a number of important subjects including education, the environment, criminal law, and roads – but this does not mean that those subjects are wholly outside the Parliament‘s powers. For example, even though the Commonwealth Parliament has no specific power in relation to the environment, it can, under its external affairs power, prohibit the construction of a dam by a State if that is necessary to give effect to an international agreement on the environment. The legislative powers of the Commonwealth Parliament can also be expanded by the Parliaments of the States referring matters to the Commonwealth Parliament under section 51(xxxvii).

So in other words there excuse for creating the Federal Environment office and imposing all the restrictions including Marine and land parks and the accompanying Multi-billion dollar budget expenditure, parliamentary environment officer anf officers, minister, deputies, assistants, spokes people, endless propaganda and of course the environmental saviours, the greens.......

is to comply with international agreements. Neither for the matter of environment itself nor the well-being of the people or flora or fauna....the old United Nations ...
Remember when we wanted to de-list the UNESCO heritage listed forests in Tassy, ye that one, we were PREVENTED by a panel of foreigners who decided that we could NOT choose to do what we wanted with OUR lands...starting to smell a rat? dont dare read the actual UNESCO treaty then...

DON'T believe anything you think.

I think Cat D is the butane jet jobbies.
Agricultural property owners and their employees can have the common BIC. Most of us are stuck with the standard match but can apply for exception to use the longer 'fire starter' matches and fire lighters if we can prove that combustion stoves are our only form of heating. All existing bbqs and other gas burners need to be retro fitted with a piezo, though.
