Greens falling out of favour

Post by Seconds » 05 Mar 2015, 12:26 pm

This is just my personal observation which is far from the whole picture, but it seems to me the Greens are falling our of favour slowly.

They used to be the fuzzy feel good party to vote for for people who didn't know anything about politics. Seems people are more aware of the measures they're opposing these days, some they're proposing seems, now that they've got their heads around the way the Greens run they're going off the party based on comments you hear on the radio and that kind of thing.

Anyone getting the same vibe?

Has anyone been able to listen to anything Christine Milne says for longer than it takes to switch channels on a tv? I cant :x

Her and every labour politician these days especially Bill Shorten make my blood curdle when I hear their hypocritical negative Nancy politicising bullshyte.

I think your right in the fact that for many years the greens were the fall back position vote for those that didn't like the main parties and wanted that warm fuzzy "I've done something good" feeling. As voters become more switched on, if they are farmers of firearms owners or fishermen they realize they would be mad to vote for a party that wants to restrict or outlaw them. Also (and I don't want to start a moral/political argument here, but) anyone who doesn't agree with a open door/everyone welcome regardless immigration policy, now realizes they cant vote for the greens.

No.

Have to turn the radio off for a while as soon as they mention she's coming up.

New corporal punishment; stick you in a room with loud speakers playing speeches of Milne + Bill Shorten both politicising and being typically hypocritical and a knife.

You will surely do your self in.

The green will never die, as long as the simple minded people, who vote for them continue to believe their motivation is 'the environment' and to make it 'better' or continue to seek a 'protest vote' as ex-Lib/Lab voters....

When in reality I would classify them as the foot soldiers/the extremists of the left who aim to cement the communist measures, total state control, open border = no border = absolute internationalism = one collective, unlimited immigration, mix all peoples to remove all racial identity. And significantly the old tax the rich till it hurts (of course the rich are those who dont line up at the soup van), give it to the 'poor' (those who pay zero tax today... or very very little tax) = egalitarianism.

The most important thing about this 'collectivism' is to remove the one significant threat to maintaining this once fully implemented - guns in the hands of the people. oh no, its about keeping the streets safe and combating crime and terrorism, of course.

Yes, it all makes sense now

This frightens me. really, because so many people have been sucked in.

Back door Bob pushed for his international 'parliament', remember? Thankfully He's gone... but there remains his legacy.... a bunch of useful idiots who are given way too much air time.

One single fact that supports the premise that they are less concerned with the environment, the land and its issues is that THE ONE FEDERAL LOWER HOUSE GREEN is from the CITY OF MELBOURNE. Not the rural regions battling feral animals, drought, foreign import competition... et c.

Hi Dave :drinks: Say hi to Sera 2-fathers (the new name for her is great!) or Sera-sea-patrol also suits....

I hope their demise continues.
I think it started with the "loss" of Bob Brown.
He had some political nouse, he would use the media at every possible oportunity and talk about anything just to get attention.
He also seemd to do a minimum of research before shooting his mouth off and most times didn't sound like a complete twat, even though he was, and he could make it sound like "inteligent comment"
Interesting how he resigned and disapeared!
The current lot sound and act like total morons, probably because thats exactly what they are.
As they keep getting more extreeme in their views and demands they will slowly loose the backing of the latte set.
Let's hope anyway.

Dunno about gone ever.

Ebbs and flows sure. Hopefully more of the former.

I'd be amazed if they ever folded as a party completely, but here's hoping I am wrong.

The greens still have a strong following of new aged, young inner city hipster, lentil eating, dope smoking, skinny latte sipping with the pinkie sticking out types who like to band together at the corner café and dream up new ways to discredit hunters, shooters , meat eaters , wool users and generally anyone who is not a green supporter with their PETA and RSPCA mates.

But don't worry, Labor, Liberal, the Police , the ADF, the Queen of England and even my dogs know how pathetic they are.

Patrol boats at airports?

I now know why the company who built the Freemantle class boats failed to win the Armadale boats! They failed to make them appear at airports!

Bloody new aged inner city hipsters, I know A LOT of them and they really do hate guns, meat eaters and anyone who isn't on benefits or working as a barista in some organic vegan cafe you've probably never heard of while doing an art degree.
They LOVE the Greens, They think the Greens will make people who work like myself pay more tax so they can raise the dole and they can live the same as someone who works full time in a job which requires a qualification. I've heard friends say its unfair that I make more money in my full time job than they do on their study allowances and dole. They want ALL guns banned and think they are all assault rifles. Showed a mate my Gamo Air rifle and he said it was a Barrett Sniper rifle like from COD and I shouldn't be able to have it. These people exist, they are real. They are f**king morons.

What he meant was "up to that point my mate"
must be related to Vicpol 2IC who thinks a savage 10BA is "some sort of Automatic, I dont think its a machine gun....but its certainly a high powered weapon..." seriously, he should have been put on mental retardation leave for that comment...
