Hate to be negative on a good effort but we really need short, concise letter.

I think you are onto a winner with the poster idea. It suits the modern attention span of less than ten seconds :)
Might the one above have more impact with an indication of illegal firearm numbers/percentage/presence... do they even have any idea of the numbers? I can see the sheeple taking "have been able to present criminals gaining access to firearms" as a statement, despite the final question.

All Australian Licenced citizens , pro firearms citizens, supportive Freedom of choice citizens can you please sign these 2 petitions https://www.change.org/p/the-australian ... m=copylink & https://www.communityrun.org/petitions/ ... wners-lago to help put a end to this witch hunt and help bring fairness back to law abiding citizens & Law abiding firearms owners.

allot of us are all in the same boat and we should all stick together. Just being Pro freedom of choice is enough. but all Citizen activities are under attack in some way or another so lend a hand to a fellow citizens preferred choice in activity. stand together as one against a nanny state Government trying to control every aspect of our lives under the guise of Public safety and health.

Allot of these people are only scared at what ever they "the media" are telling them to be scared at. you have to remember most of these people do not know any better and can be easily taken advantage of by emotion drivin groups with a classic hoplophobic like agenda. they will say anything to get what they want and that is the destruction of the legal firearms industry, the Australian Firearms sports and All types of hunting. if they get their way hunting and gathering will not exist at all and we will all be 100% dependent on the system for protection and for food....if you want to be able to do things like Camping, 4WDing, fishing, hunting, growing your own foods and just generally being free to legally go about your own business without hurting anybody else then you all need to help us take this stand against them because at the end of the day they are coming after your hobbies and activities as well. so stick together so we can all support each other.

Existing State Firearm laws, licensing and gun permits tightly control gun usage within the law abiding Australian community. Another fact, firearm license holders are the most law abiding citizens within the community. Existing regulations controlling firearm owners and accounting for all their guns is a straight forward law enforcement process for police. There is no reported wide-spread gun crime problem among licensed firearm owners. Relative to deaths on roads or drug usage there is no gun problem within Australia.

Media reporting makes some believe there is a surge in gun crime. Police occasionally announce seizures of unregistered guns from unlicensed criminals. Another fact, Government data actually indicates a steady decrease in gun violence since 1990. For political reasons, successive governments continually enact more gun control legislation against law abiding licence holders.

Stop government imposed politically motivated gun control on law abiding Australian gun owners.

There are 800,000 law abiding gun owners throughout Australia. Make your vote count at the next local, state or federal election. Your vote is precious. Please, use your vote wisely.

when the gunman realizes that nobody else is armed, he will lay down his weapons and turn himself in, that's human nature.

I've gotta say that sounds too stupid to be true, even for the antis.

I think that one might be twisted a bit from something else for the sake of whoever made the poster.
