Thanks for posting the link to the poll. :)

It will be interesting to see the results compared to last time. I imagine many people who don't have an issue with guns but have no knowledge of the different types and uses may question why people need more than 5 to start with.

No Vote recorded...
You have to admire their determination no matter how misguided. Why can't they focus their efforts on ways to protect our borders or on the illegal markets of the dark web?

Stuff like this would only lead to loopholes being exploited, such as the wife now has 5 guns, the kids, the neighbours.......but they all store them in my safe that's why there is 23 guns in there

When it all started going against the prosperity and sovereignty of Australia. Then the dollar floated. Then Free Trade Agreements (you are free to trade but we aren't)..... etc.....etc.....etc.

The next step is wholesale takeover from a couple of hundred thousand of your mates.  :wtf: :problem:

Just FYI.

Of course it's bogus. A quick search on Aust Institute of Criminology and Bureau of Statistics prove almost every assertion to be false.

I voted NO,,,, and was disappointed that there wasn't a reason/comments box.

If an owner has a caliber/gauge/type,,,,, to cater for all pest, vermin, in Australia, > go figure.
I do not fear death itself... Only its inopportune timing!

We handled our lefty infestation a bit less aggressively and now the infestation is going to take more aggressive format then usual.
we are shifting over to a solid gun rights format over here though and so is Europe. The Fudd mentality is what got us here in the first place and it will be the very thing we need to come down hard on if we want to get anywhere.

Edit: But by all means if you want to assist us please do. Allot of Australians Donate to the NRA so any support (all types of support) our way would be greatly appreciated.

I shiver every time this subject pops it's rotten head up. The Herald-Sun here in Melbourne once published such a list of large quantity owners by suburb, which gives crims a starting point for hunting us. Any person in any of the suburbs in the NSW article who suffers home invasion in the next 12 months should seriously consider suing the media rats who are in cahoots with the Groans for making them a target, gun owner or not. Poll is now 98.2% against the proposal, by the way.

And I'm yet to see anything from the people who represent us in the media, aggressively (in a passive maner.....) getting rid of this constant crap.

Mark my words, unless there's a serious "gathering of the masses" or at least a postive marketing campaign by those who represent us, we'll be asking for a poll on what your favourite. 22 single shot - once you've got the Attorney General's approval and its stored at the rife club because all gun owners must be a member of a target club with at least 20 attendances to prove the genuine reason.

It wasn't that long ago that rifles were on the shoulders of kids travelling to school on the train.

Look where we are now!

I thought it was jack boot jonny and his far right government that initiated the buy back and all the crap that came with it. Didn't know jonny was a leftie.

Back then you didnt need a firearm licence, our society worked on the ancient basis of do no wrong to others etc....

Back then we defined shotguns and air guns specifically NOT as firearms.... and that seemed to work well, and crims had guns, as they did today...

What happened was the second attempted takeover of the free world occurred. it appears the 'wrong' side won, apparently as the leftist, internationalist marxist policies have swept the 'west'.... some of which nations are perhaps as socialist as the USSR at its inception... marxist one people free movement, no borders, no morals destroy the church and family unit HAS destroyed Europe. A group of nations {nation - group of like peoples} that for millennia fought to keep others out and maintain their identity....

All gone now, gates of Vienna....what's that?

The left is winning.
