Police fear the firepower offered by seven-shot lever action shotgun and want it either stopped or made Category C.

But your lever action 30-30 or 45-70...........we cool. :unknown:

Interesting article and almost all the comments were valid from the Pro Adler crowd, usually there's 1 or 2 "Pro" and the rest are blatant "Antis". The acting chief commissioner is proof positive the Police are clueless “It seems just like a semiautomatic to me” comment made by Tim Cartwright. The Police need to enforce policy, not make it.

Yep.. :!: What next, full auto bolt action rifles :?:   I'm not even slightly convinced he is qualified for the job...!

Funny, I remember when I did the safety course, which wasn't that long ago, the cop that ran a part of it was handing out "stop the extreme greenie" stickers, anti-Greens. And was very pro from what I could sense. Yet here you have an old donkey talking politics.... ffs

Although... Something I also remember, a lady sitting across from me, looking to get a shotty was very anti duck hunting. Actually my auto correct wrote anti dick hunting, suppose both are equally applicable in her case. Fuds and people who shouldn't really politics, bah!

I think he is actually very qualified and in interviews comes across as very rational and pragmatic. I think he's close to retirement, waiting for permanent hire, so he can step down and enjoy his retirement.... This makes it a lot more scarier, because people listen.

Quite an overwhelming response in the poll there in favor of hunters. Good to see.

There has been on almost every one.

There basically always is on any shooting related poll, mostly always in our favour.

The antis/media keep asking the same thing over and over hoping to get a different result. (definition of insanity?)
