Gun Control Aust.

Am I not looking hard enough or has the constant swarming by shooters of their facebook posts forced Samantha shut down the ability to comment?

Yea they probably got sick of us and blocked everybody. Though I just deleted FB waste of time and energy always ended up getting angry.

I see they have little to say about the 300 illegally imported guns confiscated by police after breaking a major arms smuggling ring, including a dozen AR15 rifles. Must have been stolen from LAFO's here, smuggled to US and smuggled back. Makes you want to rub the bitches nose in it and throw her out the door..

Or maybe they've decided to expand their efforts and ideologies elsewhere as well ;)

Press release..

Oceans are a great threat to Australian Way of life and we demand the government do something about ocean drownings.

What we propose is that all backyard pools be licenced

cat a with water no deeper than 15cm and contain no more than 50 litres of water

Cat b with water no deeper than 30cm and contains no more than 100 litres of water.

Cat C prohibited salt water, 15cm deep, must have genuine reason for salt water

These regulations will stop drownings in our beaches and oceans.. By taking away people's ability to learn to swim they won't go in he ocean..

There must be another way to swarm them. Have those that are more tech savvy got any ideas? I consider it my duty to continue to keep scratching at them like a grass seed in your tee shirt ... Plus it's just plain fun! lol:

I don't know the technical word.. Political hearing, inquiry? Whatever it is.

Anyway, didn't they do their pitch in front of a board of our pollies a while back and point-blank refused to say how many members were in the organisation when repeatedly asked?

Had a bit of back and forth and after continued refusal got told they weren't worth the time to listen too as they didn't represent anyone

We should compromise with GCA.

Seriously compromise is the only answer.

This year repeal half the gun control laws, that is a compromise from all of them is it not? And next year another half. It is only fair, we do not want them all at once after all. :-)

I'm still waiting for the media to have discussions on how we should have a buy back on pressure cookers...

Using their previous discussions with firearms, people don't need pressure cookers. There's plenty of other ways to cook food - and it's shown that a few people are willing to use them to make bombs. And even worse - unlike guns, there's no need for a license, or background check prior to buying one!!!

I just don't get it. The media and GCA use the same reasoning for firearms, but are silent about pressure cookers. I feel like they're sort of biased and choose different rules against firearm owners but that couldn't be the case...

And get as many others as you can to get their licence as well and get them to join SFP or the LDP.[/quote]
Having a red hot go! Taking my older Scouts and their parents to the local pistol club in October. Hopefully it'll sow the seeds of a need they never knew they had!

I'm thinking that as we managed to get all feedback shut down on their page that we should move our attention to the greens facebook page and irritate the living crap out them now - maybe we can torment them into shutting down their comments/feedback too. The worst that can happen is that we'll have some quality lunch time entertainment!
