GCA's deafening silence

Post by on_one_wheel » 04 Apr 2017, 12:19 am

GCA are pretty quiet ... :unknown:

Have the media realized the truth about GCA?

Is GCA sitting back happily basking in a sense of achievement?

Have they developed an addiction to crystal methamphetamine and spiraled into self-destruction ?

Have they discovered that there's more to life than focusing on things that you don't like ?

I wonder if Sam Lee still looks hot ?

They are regrouping..

They see that slowly we are getting our act together and are starting to be a lobby group collectively.

We have politicians now, SSAA branches are getting vocal, we have the shooters union and memberships are growing.

There backers are also copping a beating in the US at the moment so they may not actually have any direction

They are always working towards their goal, no doubt just waiting for the next mass shooting in the US to use it against us and further their goal.

It's funny how there hasn't been one since trump came to power.

There was one weekly or so it seemed when Obama was in the Whitehouse

AMF has replaced the 'noise' of GCA....

Interesting was an appearance by that RAT Mikac on ABC yesterday for an interview....they introduced his as an 'AUTHOR' to no doubt tout his new book.... but he thankfully didnt even speak - I think they pissed him off so he simply bolted when out of camera shot..... very interesting...

Would be hard to believe that anyone would actually take GCA seriously. I mean look at their facebook page, the comments are flooded with shooters poking fun of the bastards. GCA are a joke, only the media and corrupt politicians keep them alive.

They won't let me play with their Facebook page any more.
Apparently I asked to many questions they didn't like answering.

Yeah the AMF I reckon will take over the main goals of GCA as honestly that works for them playing the emotional card

that because the stat became mass shooting as opposed to mass killing.....

The current convenient nonsense is minimum 4killed or injured.... so if there are 0 killed + 4 or more say, grazed their knees when a homie raised his 22LR derringer and let a round go to the heavens...... it is a 'mass shooting'

It's getting old, dude.
Facts are facts, and the facts actually do point to numerous conspiracies.
The PAM is very much one of them.
A picture of someone wearing a tin foil hat and looking dumb solves or explains absolutely nothing.
Argumentum ad hominem.
One brief problem among many-the false drug stash that turned out to be washing powder (unless it wasn't?).
-First ever in the area
-It happened to be a radio dead spot; how convenient
- If Martin Bryant did this all on his own, to my knowledge there is no placing of this activity in the official timeline. When did he plant the washing powder, when did he find the opportunity that day to make a phone call to Nubeena Police Station? Funny how no-one saw him in a phone booth and there is no mention that he had a mobile phone that day.
-Also funny how no recording of the phone call was ever released. Wouldn't this be quite useful in persuading the public of his guilt?
The issues with 28/4/1996 simply can't be dodged, however much the government wants people to forget about it and deride anyone who asks questions as a conspiracy theorist.
There was a conspiracy, so conspiracy theorist is only what everyone should be when it comes to this topic.

How's abouts this.... YOU DEFINE conspiracy..... then YOU suggest whether or not what transpired AT PA... THEN at Canberra weeks later... fits the definition. ..... .(I'm not 'nuts' so I won't throw in the months/years BEFORE the PAM.)...

Sadly, a vocal minority of gun owners who want easier access to guns are hijacking community conversation. It’s worrying, because we can see in the US how political gridlock — caused by a polarised gun control debate — has stalled needed reform.

Seems like they don't like that We are "hijacking community discussion" due to when you actually have a conversation within the community logic prevails over emotion.

It's actually scary what they stand for.

WHAT THE GCA SEEKS TO ACHIEVE

- Make semi-automatic handguns (the same kind used in massacres in America) illegal in Australia.

That's straight from their website, their rational is as always emotion over logic.

If some others here wish to deride very basic observations that everyone (including myself) should have been making at the time, plus all that's come out since, then I will not hesitate to call them out on it.
Calling these issues "crap" and saying those who dare question the official line are "crackpots" does nothing to advance the arguments of members who gratuitously criticise PAM sceptics. An amusing graphic similarly says nothing of any value.
I couldn't simply let Heckler 303's graphic go. This and other official story supporting comments, whether intentionally or not, contribute to an atmosphere of self-censorship and not questioning authority.
The entire public discussion of guns in Australia is like that anyway, so why should this forum be the same?
I didn't want to go too far off topic but I could not simply let it go unchallenged. Any time there's a comment about "If it wasn't for one idiot" or similar, I'll be there to fill the crack images/icons/smile/redface.gif . I'll do my best to keep it to a few bullet points, but I'll be there.
The problem is, literally everything on this forum is related to the PAM, for reasons that are obvious.

If you simply scroll back in either this sub-forum or Media and Politics, there should be a PAM thread with the most recent comment from last November IIRC.
I said should.
Sometimes it's there, sometimes it isn't. I can vouch for that from trying to find it at different times and not always being successful.
Some here appear to believe there are several PAM threads. AFAIK, there has only ever been one (1) and it may or may not be viewable.

Cheers
