Would be very welcome changes I'd say.

But what are the actual chances these will get through? I guess, extremely slim.

Thanks for sharing Bullzeye. That is indeed an eye opener.

So the major parties don't believe authorities require knowledge of what they are doing when it comes to firearms. (At least that's how I read "Ensure delegates excercisingt he police commissioner's authority have the appropriate knowledge and training"). I knew the government leaned one way when it comes to firearms, but this is just.... wow.

Given that, it's no wonder they voted against the rest of what is actually a reasonable list of bills.

The fact that nothing on this perfectly fair and reasonable list was passed just prompted me to become a member of the party. If the LNP can spend the duration of a conference debating the requirement for sex-specific crossing signals, then it's time to stand with a party that actually represents my interests.
