The missus just got back from some markets in town where the local lnp member was set up at the stall next to her. This is the heading on their firearms policy pamphlet. Suddenly the lnp is the shooters best mate!!!!! :allegedly:

Kind of like Campbell Newmans pre election promises to anglers before he came into power, to get our votes we were led to believe they would relax some of the laws regarding fishing in the green zones, once he got in we were swept under the carpet and ignored/forgotten about.
One of the areas we were locked out of became national park on land and water, that area now has a railway through it and all that goes with it, it has done more damage to the area than local anglers could had done in 10 lifetimes....

Bit off topic I know but same principle, they tell you what you want to hear to get your vote then back peddle and act like they said nothing of the sort once they have what they want and often drive the knife in deeper and impose more restrictions on the hard working citizen.

That POS sign is permitted by the screeching leftists because they know it is namby pamby bulls**t.
An interesting experiment would be for a bunch of right thinking folk to dress up like fly blown socialists and start high volume squealing of nonsensical crap.
Betcha the cowardly grubs would have the sign down in seconds and be apologizing profusely.
Then roar laughing and put the circus on Youtube.

Come to think of it Daddybang we may not be retarded but what is the defect in our thinking for voting these pricks
in all the time :? :? :?
It is Liberal---Labour---Liberal ---- Labour ---Liberal------Labour and so on how come we are not smart enough to learn
these turds are not going to change and will do and say anything to gain power it is an instinct in power seeking people
Nothing short of fishing they bait you hook you once they have you they throw the bait to another the cycle starts again
How many years has this been going on yet we still keep falling for their BS nothing more we trusted them with gun laws, :x
we trusted them with Children overboard turned out to be BS trusted them with Weapons of mass destruction went to war
turned out to be BS lost many young men sent by the same man who took our guns go figure
Look what they do to themselves to gain power they almost implode all the nipping and snarling like a pack of dingoes
We absolutely need change in politics in this country people will have to get off their arses and start thinking what would like for the
future and vote these big parties out they have become a closed system rather than working for the people they work for themselves and power
it seems to be a big game to them with no future for us
They use the media like a bottle of Vaseline use it when they want to bugger something or someone then wipe their arse with them

The major parties are the result of single issue flip flop voters. They now dangle whatever they need to get the votes because thats what voters have proven works. Ultimately you have a centre right tradionally small goverment party thats many want to be more right and a left moving futher left party that are moving further left. Then the smaller ones who mostly campaign on single issues or more focused. Recent events have shown voting for these smaller groups can be a wake up to the big 2 which seems at this point to be the best way. So vote for your small party of choice then further down your big party you find the most common ground with.

I'm actually surprised its only 190,000 shooters in QLD, look down your road Daddybang and it would be nudging %75 ownership, I suppose the cities bring it back though.

It's a good start. However it will take time for me.

My Rule #1 with politicians: Observe not what they say - observe what they have done in the past 10+ years and base judgement on that. It's the only accurate way to determine where a party really stands.

If what they're saying now is correct on what they intend that's great - in 10 years time they might win my vote back - however they have to do - and do consistently in order to have my vote. And if they do that they won't just have my vote - they'll have my respect.

Otherwise if it's just a quick sound bite grab for some quick swinging votes - it's lost on me and will only further work against them with future issues.

Only a matter of time before some clown decides that we are far too immature too have anything more that a .22 and even then it will be a single shot. Were sick to death of all these imbeciles from the cites telling us where to go, what to do and how we should behave. Every time i want to go somewhere nice with the misses for a BBQ or something you come across a gate or sign "closed to all vehicles due to greenies" or "restricted to aboriginal persons only". People forget that this country belongs to US, not the elite "scientists" or politicians or local rich pricks that want everything to be closed for there personal enjoyment without us plebs.

Dead right mate. .It seems like every time ya turn around there's some city bred eff wit trying to tell us what we should be doing (no offense to the people from the city on this forum ya not the type I'm talking about) all I ask is to be left alone to live my life the way I choose. I won't eff with people if they don't eff with me!!! :drinks:
