Also, there is going to be a gun amnesty next year for illegal firearms. Personally I have no problem with that but am not sure how effective it will be. Probably old farmers getting rid of guns they have had for 30+ years.

I find the timing of events too coincidental. It's almost as if the entire show was orchestrated to bring maximum attention to the Adler just in time to whip up public anti firearm sentiment to coincide with the NFA meeting.
