PoorShot300 wrote:Thanks again, i was trying to get a mental image of what bbl i can use, and it seems i can go as short as 20" and still be legal when folded.
Cheers
PoorShot300 wrote:I thought the legislation required a minimum bbl length of 19.6"?...or is it that a bbl can be any length as long as the rifle remains @ 75cm?
The base model i'm building this off only goes down to 20" and i think that's what the reg's are built around?....i'm not after m16 shorty bbl but like the idea of short fat irons....

Your on the money...50cm is the minimum for a 'shortened' original bbl,...the rifle comes in a 20" HB profile and nothing shorter. Were it on a conventional stock, the 1:8/1:7 could do being 22" i imagine for a clean burn and stable assist.
The 20" is a 1:9...
