A 10x scope is 10x your normal sight, right?

Just checking I have this right... say a 10x scope for example, that's 10x your normal vision right?

Yep.

So if you were looking at a bottle with your eye at 10m and looking at a bottle at 100m through a 10x scope they would appear the same size.

No wonder it's so easy to hit that little target dot at 100m when I'm using my 60x or 80x Scope....

No such thing as too much zoom for target shooting I reckon
