I don't play around with loads in my rifles I find a projectile and load it likes and that's it
22-250 @ 55gr vmax Benchmark 2 powder ,rem 91/2 large primers and rem brass from new
7mm rem mag 162gr ELD MATCH cci 250 mag primers AR2217 powder but on saying that I am thinking of
moving to 162gr ELD-X if all goes well
My knowledge in other areas of loading for comp shooting is all but nil but I do know my way around my rifles and loading for them
There are lots of people on this forum with loads of knowledge in those areas more than happy to help when its needed
Cheers

I ran into a bloke today & had a brief-ish conversation about shooting...
He quickly turned the conversation into one of those "cartridge for certain game" dictatorships...
Apparently a "204 is nothing"--so upon showing the results on bunnies n foxes, he commented i should be using a "decent round like 7-08"...!!! (my face did exactly this)
Then i said i have one of those but added that i used that for "bigger game like goats"...to which he didnt like my vhoice of projectile--(a light weight expanding proj that shoots in my rifle for goats)...
He suggested i should be using a min of a 160gn'r on goats--i told him goats are small & soft & are NOT red deer...but that didnt prevent him telling me how good he was...
By this point id got the vibe of this fellow--so asked him what he uses on goats &/or what he hunts... (wait for it...)...
Shoots a bit of .22lr & air rifle occasionally at a range...never hunted in his life...
He followed me around & continued to insist i take his advice...
It was funny at first, but soon became pretty annoying as he talked over the top of me...!!!
Normally i invite people out to the club for a shoot...but i told this fellow i dont shoot in any clubs...
