Hi fellow forum members.
I'm new here so just saying g'day.
I've shot many guns in the past (army, shooting with friends etc) but only just getting into this on my own. License pending...!
I'm from the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Greensborough), looking to get into pest shooting, clay targets, and rabbit/duck/deer hunting.
If anyone is from around the the north east, let me know - I'm looking for like-minded people to go shooting with.
Thanks

Welcome aussie_bloke. Mate, be very careful going hunting with people you do not know. You NEED to know they are safe to hunt with. I suggest you concentrate on them the first few times out & don't bother hunting yourself.
Regards, Keith.

G'Day All,

Getting back into it after having my first taste of hunting back in the 80's as a 10yo!!!

I have a relative that has two guns they are willing to hand over to get me started, and I need to work out a fair price, they are:

1. Rifle .22 Husqvarna with a Nikko Stirling scope, early 80's I think
2. 12G shotgun Fabarm made in Italy I think 1976 vintage

Sorry no pictures as yet.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Cheers

Without some idea of condition it's a bit hard to give a price but around two hundred for the .22 would be my guess. Sorry can't help with the shotty but I have no idea   :drinks:

G’day all. I'm Steve. I’m mainly into hunting these days. Mostly with ex-mil stuff and have a bit of an interest in wildcats and obsolete chamberings. I am a fitter by trade and like making my own bits and pieces. Catch you round.

Hey everyone!
New to the forum. Me and a mate, both from victoria, are just trying to get into the duck hunting scene. We have both done our WIT. ive just recently bought a fabarm elos b 12g as my first gun. Mate has a browning.

We've been out a couple of times just trying to suss it all out and am definetly getting more experience. Any hints or tips from anyone would be muchly appreciated, other than that just trying to learn and pick up as much as we can.

Cheers guys.

Welcome. Same as me, sit and wait. That's if I get a chance to get out, pretty rare at the moment.
