It will just put more drivers to sleep and the road toll will go up. The capabilities of cars today are much better than the 1970's in terms of safety and ability.

Unfortunatly and sadly, as the capabilities of today's cars increase in terms of safety and ability, the capabilities of most of those who opereate them with any sort of safely, or with any ability, decreases.

Yes trekkin you're bang on there...

I am amazed at how many utter fukwit drivers litter the rrural oads today, & surprisingly many of them are truckies......on the outside chance some if them are reading this...TURN YOUR HEAD LIGHTS ON DURING THE DAY...!!!

Unfortunately the better the cars get, more & more people lacking common sense frequent on rural roads...wish could put them in their own sectioned off area along with those stoopid grey numbats n their bludy convoys of caravans that dont allow you to overtake & that litter the countryside...
The man who knows everything, doesnt really know everything...he's just stopped learning...

Yep,Daddybang, things have changed - traffic is slower, we have "ramping" at most M1 off ramps now and the Labour Government's proposing to reduce the Highway speed from 110 to 80 to " speed up the traffic flow".

Same ol same O...
