Hunters Element gear

Post by Oryx Pit » 11 Aug 2018, 11:56 am

Just wondering if anyone has any real world experience with Hunters Element gear, good or bad.
Been seeing it popping up everywhere but thin on the reviews.

Anyway is it worth sending my hard earned to my kiwi brothers rather then my american cousins (ie Sitka, Kuiu)

Cheers

Good gear, a good mate of mine uses it, stylish, practical and durable. I’d be happy to purchase it if I didn’t already have a heap of Tusx and Kryptek gear....Might wander down that path when said gear gets a bit long in the tooth..

Over the ditch a few months ago and checked out the clothing scene at Hunting and Fishing, TAURANGA and didn't mind the Matuku range. The Hunters Element and Stoney Creek gear looked alright too.

Well my Hunters Element venom gaiters and Crux Hunting top have arrived. Gaiters are lighter than expected and appear well made but haven't field tested yet. Top should be good come summer. Camo pattern very similar in colour to mutlicam.

yep bigpete, one thing about a flanny is pockets !
This is what a lot of very pricey camo shirts lack, nowhere to put licence, calls, whistles and other stuff.
Another thing in favour of the flanny is never short of cleaning patches!

Yep i live in my flanny's...love em...
However, those pockets are a right bludy pain with the toe of a buttstock of my shotty...
Gets caught almost every time--not good when needing a quick reload for another bunny...!

Hunters Element make great gear. Never had any issues with it, moderately priced and most importantly comfy / practical. Bonus with this stuff is, you can try it on before purchasing.
If you haven't tried it yet, Kuiu ship to Australia (free shipping on orders +$280) this gear is amazing. Link below.
