Probably depends on what you're looking for. If it's anything to do with black powder, Allan Vaisham is worth contacting - Green River Rifle Works, Cumberland Ave.

I've spoken to the guys at adelaide gun shop, seemed nice.
Fishers can be so so. But it's been a long time.
I mainly deal with tonkins sportscene in victor harbor, but recently I've been going to gunning 4 u,because the prices are vastly cheaper

Eurooptic are new but they seem quite good from what I have had to do with them.

Adelaide Gun Shop are good but don't seem to carry much stock, especially powder.

SARA are quite good but it can be quite a hassle that they are not open on Monday or Saturday.

However, they are all very expensive compared with eastern states gun shops. Unjustifiably expensive in my opinion.

1 vote for C and S Sporting Arms. I've only been there a couple of times with a mate when he got his but service is A1 and more than happy to answer all your questions.
Easy come, easy go.

Bridge hunting supplies at Murray Bridge is also worth a look. One man show, I've always had good customer service from him. I appreciate that he knows and greets me and my boy by name every time we walk through the door. I can't say that for any of the other shops in Adelaide.

Expensive? Interesting to know. Maybe Ill just keep buying my Ammo from interstate then.

Just had a look at the 9mm Syntech by AE and AGS have them listed on their website for $35.95 for a 50pk which is $10.95 more than what I pay in NSW.

Buy it interstate, add on a cut for yourself, then sell it to everyone over here, you would still be cheaper than the gun shops. Guns are even worse than ammo.

Just having a stir mate. For what it’s worth I actually think Adelaide is quite nice, with the exception of your weather. I am there for work on occasion.
I live in regional North QLD mate so quite the contrast.

Mate it doesn’t take to much for it to change down there either.
Those big old fast moving cold fronts that stooge in from the sea change everything in a heartbeat.
Mind you, there is some fairly influential geography that changes things, ie, big ice continent to the south and the big hot sandy desert to the north, Adelaide in the middle. Apart from the weather, it’s a fairly tidy city so far as cities go.
In saying that I don’t think I’d survive in the city.

In the last few years I've found Fisher Firearms to be the most helpful and friendliest.

Now, I just buy from whoever has what I want at a reasonable price and distance from me which is usually metro Adelaide. I also purchase from out club to help support them.
