I'm a Land Rover tragic myself.
Wouldn't have anything else now.
My favourite is my 89 Rangie. The standard 3.9 V8 is now a 4.6 stroker, ported, polished, balanced, big cam, Motec engine management, bigger injectors and fuel pump, bigger radiator and oil coolers, bigger ventilated discs with 4 pots, Bilstein shocks, King Springs, cold air induction, 1 3/4" headers and 3" superflow exhaust. Dyno on installation showed 310hp.
That was 200k kms ago, so some of the horses have escaped, but with faded paint and looking stock on the outside he can still surprise those who judge by appearances and not the rumble.
Had him 20yrs and I still love driving him every time I get behind the wheel.
