When I saw Mundine mouthing off I thought "What a purler if the mouthy pr!ck went down in the 1st"

Should have wished for a lotto win.

Mind you, Jeff could knock me out for what Mundine would have been paid for that 96 seconds.

G'Day Fella's,

In reality, Abbott is the best person the Libs have.
It's just that he is not a UN STOOGE, so it will be hard for him to get his job back.

Reality is he is a fk head, ego tistial maniac, that is resentful that he was kicked out, and had done everything in his power to destabilize and destroy liberal party and ofcourse Turnbull.

I will hate him for nothing else but the fact that he fkd up NBN for australia, made it a 50billion dollar white elephant, that was not only flat to implement, was moe expensive than he promised but gave 450million bolts to optus to normal their cable tv network that was fked and was worth not even 10 bucks. Anda 1 billion to telstra, top rent their copper telephone network that is not even fit to send voice calls through key alone high speed internet traffic.

But I shouldn't complain, the people of australia are morons, case in point, even after everything that Dan did over his term as premier instead of voting labour out this election victorians have handed landslide victory to labour. Go figure

The nbn was f@#ked before rabbid got hold of it and guess who was communication minister and oversaw the implementation of the nbn in the early stages ....yep mr talkbull strikes again. Rabbott, the climate change denying, mysoginistic, homophobic, narcissist who wants to ramp up coal production in the face of worldwide acceptance of the damage it does is they best the LNP have homeboy?

Look at the alternatives, the Labor party, bought and owned by China and the unions or the rabidly anti gun Greens

Yes labour fked it...by building it in tassie first to get wilkie votes. Anyway the idea was great even, yeah some things shouldnt be about the money but the long term benefit of the country. Sure if you enough guns you don't need fancy NBN, but consider a family of 3 school aged kids that want to study or research and try doing it on the pair gained crap where you can't get adsl2 cuz telstra split 1 phone line to connect two houses. Then they tell you to goto expensive mobile broadband... (didn't you hear of the politician that spent over AUD 1k per month on mobile broadband.)

Both are cry babies no doubt. But question is do you want a Mr negative, mesagunist who just says exactly opposite of what labour said, I swear if Rudd said sky was blue abbot would have said sky is red, come on I'd my 4 year old did that to his sister I would tell them off, this guy is an adult and even a Rhodes scholar.

So when your party leader says naa we going to build a s**t internet, do you go yeahNo you are a s**t head mr crabbot and its wrong decision.... give me one example in recent times that a politician did that mate, on any side. No they tow the party line and give the australian public a multi mix fked up internet.

Lastly as I have said before, Turnbull said this a year ago, if u kick me out I will leave the parliament. And when he was kicked out, he did what he said. True to his words. Something yet again not many politicians have done much of in recent times (on all sides of politics)

But I look at it this way, what team can run well with two captains? None can. So trabbot should have quit once he was no longer PM. and tbh I am happy Turnbull left so it allows socomo to do his work instead of having 2 ex PMs feeling him how he could be doing his job better.

Saying that all the of them have done a s**t of a job.

What talkbull has lett the government to get on ith it????
The very simple fact is that talkbull hqs never been about anyone but talkbull. As for the nbn how did families with three kids studying do it both before the nbn and now( when you say the nbn is f@#ked.). Funnily enough i dont have the nbn hooked up and yet here I am on the Internet!  nbn always has been a f@#ken ill thought out joke that sounded great but was always goin to sh@t. I'm no fan of abbot but he was the elected prime minister of this country same as hawke and rudd and personally I think Keating Gillard and talkbull shouldve been charged with treason. The only way we should be able to change prime minister is through a fed election maybe then we wouldn't have the factional farce that passes for politics in this country and just maybe politicians would worry more about doin there job than keeping it!! ....... but hey I'm just a dumbass country boy that doesn't know sh@t!!  :drinks:

Got to agree with you Daddy, you should dance with the one you brought with you.

Changing PM for political purposes should be an offence against the people who voted you into power. Unless he's a total fvckwit like Rabbott, who should have been drowned at birth.

The fact that both sides have done so so often in the last decade should be enough to convince even the most intellectually challenged among us that EVERY politician is in the game for their own advantage only.
We are nothing more to them than the fools who fund their golden ride.

Re: Need A Laugh?

Well after kevin macdubbin was ousted labour changed the rules and the party only has limited opportunities to change their leader, liberals should have done the same. So yes I agree with you on that.

Back to NBN, when I was 20 years old I used to use dial up internet to look at text only forums called bulliten boards or IRC chat rooms, why change that you say.... well 150 years ago people used to travel on horseback, fire single load muzzle guns with highly inaccurate shots, used to travel from England to australia via boat........Times change improvements in technology make our lives in some cases simpler and better. And the future is the age of technology.. well future is already here, and even third world countries have better, faster and more reliable internet than australia... and that's a fact.

I used to work in an organization with 22 staff connected by a simple adsl connection in country vic. It was fine most of the time, except when the staff members wanted to have a meeting with state and federal health department ppl in another town 2hrs away or even Melbourne, the trip to melbourne meant the staff were out of office for the whole day... all to attended a 1hr meeting. Our organization board members were spread over about 200km radius, as our organisation covered whole of east gippsland (about 350km).

This was fun until federal government decided it would be swell to cover whole of gippsland in one organization (joined 3 organizations to one to save money) the three offices were spread about 150km from each other in a triangle. Was really fun trying to have regular meetings between ppl in different offices doing same program... or whole organization staff meeting.

Having NBN (videoconferencing) would make life simpler and more efficient and best of all ppl could spend more time doing the job they were paid to do. As a manager it would mean team members could communicate and share documents with each other easier. You could have a tech guy based in one office easily connect to a computer in another office and fix any issues remotely. I asked telstra for a business grade connection to the three offices, cost was looking at well over 10k AUD a month. In NBN this would be closer to $300 a month

Another simple example, how many of you are older guys living in country areas, who go see their specialist in the big smoke. I spoke to a GP clinic manager who on an urgent case traveled from mallacoota to melbourne to see a specialist, a 6hr one way trip. Only for the specialist to look at the reports ask a couple of questions, and that was it. Something if they again had decent infrastructure could have easily been done by videoconferencing... which requires a decent internet connection.

I now live in the outskirts of Melbourne suburbia, 5 minutes from a big shopping centre... but still in acreage, i was taking to a neighbor she gets 1.5mbps speed internet... which is nearly good enough to open websites with pictures without wanting to go on a killing spree from all the waiting for them to download.

For me, I could think of 5 business ventures that I could startup if I had reasonable internet connection.

Plus my wife could watch Netflix movie while one of my kids watches a dinosaur docu on Netflix another watches ABC ME and third looks up youtube for some cooking recipes. While I can easily browse enough gun.

Yes while we think what NBN is only for watching movies, the real benefits would have been enormous. Who doesn't want NBN. Murdoch and telstra cuz they would be the biggest losers.

Ziad my friend, I agree totally that the NBN we have is a total dog's breakfast that would be laughed at in Bumfvck Central Africa.

We have politicians whose idea of the far future is the next electoral cycle so we are hogtied by their stupidity and cupidity, not to mention who they have sold themselves to for this sitting of parliament.

Anyone with at least 2 brain cells to rub together can see that fibre to the premises is the future and the only way to be competitive.
Unfortunately, we are prevented from rewarding our politicians with the several feet of course hemp rope their behaviour deserves, so until we change either the system or the human ticks it attracts, we are destined to remain a 1st World country with 3rd World technology.

No offense buddy, but you seriously need to use the preview option before posting. It would make your usually relevant observations more coherent.
I say that with good will towards you.

Me too!
Although he is somewhat anti gun he seems to be the least corrupt PM that we have had for the last 40 years.
All the others seemed to have been educated at the Obeid school of public administration.

As for the bleating about NBN.
It was never intended to provide Mr & Mrs Dropkick in Nowhereville with super internet although in some cases that may have been a byproduct of it's implementation.
It's real purpose was to recreate a government monopoly on communications, just like the good old days, with overstaffing by cronies and spivs and pricing to match.

G'day Straightshooter,
This is Abbott we're talking about.
That's Tony Abbott, the bloke who is totally owned and in the complete thrall of the fossil fuel industry

Mate I'm not taking the piss, everyone has an opinion, hell I'm full of them.
But how do you see the man whose deliberate sniping and backstabbing is almost solely responsible for the total dysfunction of the Australian Federal Government for his own revenge and ambition as the least corrupt?

His behaviour is the direct cause of so many policy failures and fvckups, he's probably the worst PM I can remember since Billy "big ears" McMahon.

Personally i dont understand the hoohaa about Abbot...

EDIT...sorry ill rephrase that...i understand it but think its better out & exposed...

My belief is that his behaviour, despite it being disfunctional, is all just a byproduct of knowing the state of poloitics in this country is kaputskees...

He & Turnbill would no doubt both see & think that...as did many of the Labour MP's that resigned do/did when Shorten did his Rudd/Gillard/Rudd moves...!!

The king of this backstabbing, the God of corrupt politics for the single good of a power rush with complete contempt for the good of this country & its people is apparently going to be our next leader...

Remember the Labour debacle....all the Libs did since being in power was a case of monkey see monkey do...Shorten is the King of destruction in this country...he wont stop untill we are beyond recovery & there are no brains left to brainwash...!!!

Personally i think all this stupid behaviour (politics) is for the better--& i hope both--err---all parties continue it in a big way....!!!

The reason being this is the only way to have any hope of things changing, by way of the "real behaviours" of the people & bodies that run our country being exposed in its entirety.
While it is all hidden it will continue unchecked so lets encourage it to come out...
No point in thinking it doesnt happen just because we cant see it. :unknown:

I hope it all implodes & the everyday consumers who think 60 mins is a top notch current affairs program, & that their steak comes from a cow that grew on a foam tray, & that a carbon tax &/or emissions trading scheme actually saves the environment, & that Coles & Wlworths advertising is telling the truth that they help our farmers, grow some fukn brains & oust our entire system & its narcissistic ways...

My only fear is that Shorten is good--he's real good at keeping his ways under wraps...he's finally picked his loyal soldiers & got rid of all the do-gooders who are there for the people...a real clever hitler but without any balls...
The man who knows everything, doesnt really know everything...he's just stopped learning...
