So I bought a old winchester 1890 in 22wrf couple weeks ago. Finally got around to picking it up yesterday. When I bought it I was told they dont make ammunition for it, which doesnt bother me. I bought it without the intention of ever shooting it, just liked the look of it. But has anybody ever seen 22wrf rounds being sold recently particularly Qld? Cheers

Well there you go. Well done Gaz, I honestly thought he'd have buckleys. I have an original box full but it is worth more as a collectible than usable ammo.
Obviously CCI saw a demand for it and made some.
Note to O.P, I'd buy as much as you can, can't see it as being available forever. The original loading wasn't much better than modern high velocity .22LR.
The original stuff I have has a lead bullet and a copper case.

I pick it up from my local TNT depot. When they sent my first order they mentioned the residential and I wondered if a farm business would surfice, but didn't push it - TNT is close enough.
