That s&b ammo worked really well in my zastava, BUT, the projectiles are very hard and don't seem to expand at all. I have lost some chest shots, that a 22lr would have put down. I have 150 of them left but have no confidence in them on game.

Do your own testing, but that's my experience.

The 30gr vmax gave me 25mm at 100 from the zastava and they seem to kill well.

I have my 22wmr for sale, (although I really love shooting it) as it costs the same to shoot as my 223 reloads and I don't have to worry so much about range.

Nah much prefer the flush fitting mags than ones that hang down and get caught up on things or dig into to ya at times, each to their own of course but for me I like em flush fitting not hanging out. :drinks:

Nice one mate, Do you actually hunt with it or is it more for just punching paper?

I'd be bulk buying those 30gn V-max, they shoot by far the best in that particular rifle so stock right up on em incase they stop making them! Or the Hiland, it seems to go alright too for a cheaper brand (good for having fun with and keep the better stuff for hunting.

the action sitting on the stock is not solid at all, seems not affect accuracy too much but still feels not good, may get chassis later, any suggestion? MDT LSS 22?

Are magnums usually a less accurate round?

I've found my Ruger .22WMR seems to shoot the CCI Maxi-mag the best along with the 30gr Hornady V-Max. Everything else is pretty average for me (especially the Highlander and CCI high velocity rounds), though I haven't tried the S&B ammo. Might grab a box of 50 the next time im at the LGS.
It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

seems all magnums are hunting ammo rather than match ammo, so accuracy not excellent
