Good reply there from biggus
Gven you've mentioned mostly target shooting, id be going for reach...!!...meaning bigger end of magnification...
You can wind it back for the field no worries, & depending on what rifle its on, most 22's are pretty light anyway so carting a slightly heavier scope around in the field shouldnt be too much of a problem...
The bushnell 4.5-18 scope is the only one i have experience with.
I have one...now firstly, im not a fan of it--but that is probably because the next cheapezt scope i have is 3.5X the price.
I also dont like the "dots"--i feel they cover up too much.
Having said that, its a great option for cheap magnification...
And id be happy for one on my first 22...
There are a vouple of blokes on here that have them & like them...
One bloke on here has them on most of his rifles i think & rates them quite highly...hopefully he will pipe in with an opinion...
Try & look through them all if you can...check them out on a sunny day & see what detail you see in dark shadows & bright highlights.
Once my eyes started to fail...my first optic was a tasco 6x40 world class scope...jap made & still kicking...plenty of magnification in the field & it sucessfully downed tonnes of bunnies & trailer loads of foxes...
But no good for target shooting at decent range...
My vote out of the scopes youve listed would probably be the 4.5-18...
For shops...try horsley park in Syd.
Hope that helps a bit mate...
Let us know what you end up with....
