Personally i am not a fan of the way the barrels are fitted - by heating the receiver ring and swaging in the barrel.....not ideal if you need to re-barrel......
The Sauer 100 is a fine range of rifles and shoot very well - as were the Sauer 101 before it...... and are a great hunting rifle as such. The M18 is just another variant and prices too appeal to the new shooters with a marque that evokes rifles of quality ......they still make nice rifles as such as does Sauer - but purely entry level offerings as such...
Good rifles if you want something different from the usual HOWA / Tikka etc...

Stix wrote:Wow that seems cheap (the rings)...
I need a new set of inch rings & all gun dhops seem.way over priced.
Do you know what ebay store you got them from...? Or do you have you got a link to the page or store...?
(Im not overly tech or ebay savvy--i just get lost looking in there)...
Anyway, that scope is no good...
Truthfully, looks a real nice outfit...

M18 is threaded barrel mate. Basically a 5 shot Moa rifle for sub $900.
You'd be lucky to get a gunsmith to fit/profile a barrel half as accurate as that in this country......
