Yes, but I can't access my load data. What bullet are you wanting to use as that will affect the charge?
I would recommend Trailboss.
I think with the 100gn XTP I was using around 8gn of TB for subsonic.
Try 10gn and adjust up or down as required.

A 100 gn xtp would be perfect for me

They shoot well for me in .303/7.62x54R. They also do 85gn and 60gn .312" XTP's that I'd like to try sometime for giggles. I did expect feeding issues with the shape of the bullet but they seem to run quite well.

I shoot XTP 100grns .312 Hornady in my 3..0. AR2206H 25grns and they shoot weirdly spot on at 50 as well as my 174grn Rn does at 100. So its just a matter of swapping ammo. TB works just as well.

I think I jumped the gun when I said the 100 gn would work. I checked the weight and at 1050 FPS the calculated muzzle energy was dismal I shall research the use of much heavier lead to ensure I can get some useful energy before I proceed further. Thanks for your replies

Why do you want energy?
You need a heavy bullet for subsonic loads if you want to hit hard, soft lead is great.

Remembering that a 222 rem gives 1200 ft pounds A subsonic 100 gn proj only gives about 250 So not really responsible I think to use it on a pig. If I could get better energy levels from something that weighed 180-220 then I would be haveing a very poor trajectory so I hesitate to pursue this idea for the moment And I just spent 1700 yesterday so I might just do some basic hunting for a bit

Heavier wont change trajectory,speed does.
Btw,my bows produce around 40ft lbs of energy. I've taken quite a few pigs with one arrow....

What was your reasoning for going subsonic? At those velocities you're basically shooting handguns. Something like a .44 Magnum with a 180gn XTP at 1080fps would be similar to a .303 with a cast 180gn bullet at similar velocity. They're still holding over 400ft-lb at 50m. A 75m zero puts them 50mm high at 50m and 120mm low at 100m, but I would think you'd be shooting well under 100m. Bump the velocity up to 1700fps and they're making over 900ft-lbs at 50m, and still fairly easy on the ears and shoulder. And flattens the trajectory to 15mm high at 50m and 45mm low at 100m. If you want to use jacketed bullets that actually deform then you'll likely want to maintain at least 1600fps terminal velocity, so you'd want to increase muzzle velocity.

The Hornady 150gn .312" SP at 1800fps should be good within 100m. Or the Hornady 174gn .312" RN at 1900fps would hit even harder.

You are confusing draw weight with energy. A 400gn arrow at 300fps makes 80ft-lb.

No,I'm not.
Try a 580gn arrow at 170fps...

I played around a bit with tb loads in 303, with a few projectiles from lead wadcutters to 180gr fmj. Be careful, i had my first and only squib, %100 case was charged but for whatever reason that pill decided to not exit the muzzle. Was a 180gr fm jn with about 7.5gr from memory.
At the moment im playing around with 32acp semi jacketed hollow points, pushing them over 3k with no stability issues, great accuracy and nice flat trajectory.
